we can't wait to go back

We can't wait to go back to Samoa. Mark was a great host who looked after us as if we were his own family. He went out of his way to provide us with excelllent hospitality and valuable information about Samoa and all for a very affordable price. We enjoyed our short holiday very much and would recommend Samoa and Berties to anyone looking for a very unique holiday in a country that looks like a paradise. Thanks Mark. From Dana and Baylet.

Highly Recommend Berties!

I travelled there on a budget and found Berties to be excellent value for my money. The breakfast was delicious, the owners were friendly and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms were good The only downside is that its in Vaitele fou, which not all the locals know...its about a 10 dollar cab ride into town, or you can take the bus for under 2 bucks and thats quite the fun experience :)

A real home from home

I had flu while I was there - Marianna made me fresh lemon drinks and looked after me as my mum would have. Mark was a great tour guide - and the Hash House Harriers were something else!

Good value for money

The location is a bit out of town but the service and excellent meals and the hosts efforts to fill all your needs more than make up for this. After a couple of days you get to know the buses and taxis and travel around becomes easy. We would reccommend it to anyone looking for a good value hotel who is travelling on a budget and wants en-suite toilets and showers.

Great Service in out of town location

This family run B&B offers great service. The owners are really friendly and make you part of the family for the length of your stay. I would recommend this B&B to anyone. Value for money is second to none and it is OK for young and old alike. It is about 4 miles from the center of town but as it has it's own bar and the owner Mariana is a fantastic cook I only felt the need to go to town in the evening for specific fiafia nights and a cab home was only 10 tala.
