La Posada, Quepos

We miss LaPosada! The hotel staff prepared us a delicious breakfast each morning. The coffee was piping hot and ready for us each morning no matter how early we got up! The hotel borders the National Park so our mornings were full of visits by deer, monkeys, sloths, etc. The proximity to the park gave us access to the the park guides who would come over and give us the details on the plant life and animals who visited. The hotel staff booked all our fabulous tours--guided park tour, ziplining, white water rafting, 4-wheeler tour, and a much-tamer spice farm tour. In addition, Mike, the owner from the US, gave us daily suggestions of the happenings each day/night of what the locals love. We did it all! The breathtaking beach is only a short 5 minute, flat walk away. Our rooms were always very clean each day. This staff is so amazing--not only do they provide a delicious hot breakfast each morning along with local fruit, they do a meal and movie night twice each week. We enjoyed the covered, outdoor gathering area with our group of 15. The small pool is a perfect size for cooling off after an adventure-filled day. Our group of 15 ranged in age from 12 to 87 and everyone had a wonderful experience at LaPosada.
