Apple Garden Inn, Ashland

I have stayed here twice on two separate occasions, separated by almost a year. OK... admittedly most of the negative reviews are pretty accurate. This isn't the cleanest hotel. The bathrooms are especially unpleasant. I didn't take a shower on either of my visits. I didn't experience any bed bugs, but I did have flying gnats in my room on both visits. The beds were comfortable, though. And, the cable TV was decent. But, now, let's consider the price. With tax, I spent only $45 per night. Where are you going to find that price in northern Virginia? Not in a Holiday Inn. Every other hotel I looked at in the area was at least twice the price. So, for a single night or even a couple nights, it's not that bad. I met the owner on my first visit and he took me on a tour of the hotel. He was very nice. I know others have indicated that he ripped them off. I have not had the same experience. But, of course, I won't dispute their claims. All in all, if you are traveling in the area and need a hotel for a night and are willing to skip taking a shower, the Apple Garden Inn is actually a decent hotel for the price and location. I will probably stay there again at some point.

Apple Inn? SHOUD BE CALLED LEMON IN. Pucker up and take it in the butt if you stay here. DONT EVEN STAY HERE ONE NIGHT! WORST place I have ever seen. I had to clean the room before I brought in my stuff. MOLD on head board, blankets and chairs CIGGERETT BURNED. TUB? Would not wash my dog in it. So many DISCUSTING things cant name them all. My company brought me in from out of town and were told NEW REMOLDE. Roof was nice maybe should have slept there. I stayed 3 days found a nice place. Owner would NOT give RECIEPT and charged for 8 days. NO REFUNDS he said. I have pictures to back up this comment. No Ice No room cleaning No coffee No soap or shampoo Air broken. No key card. NO SERVICE.

Went to see my friend julie who was visiting her family from out of state, went to pick her up to go grab some dinner and a couple drinks.....well when I got to her room, she asked me to look at a bug in the room,.....It was the biggest bed bug ive seen....it was on her pillow,...well i grabbed a towel and pulled back the comforter and sheets and they were everywhere in just one of the beds,..I told her to go tell the manager to come to the room and also to demand her money back...he refused to give her her money and tried to give her another room....well me , Im not so quiet and passive as she is, so I started knocking on all the motels doors and alerting people to what had been found in room 109 and some even came to check.....the manager started yelling at me and told me the room was not rented to me and I needed to leave the property and also be quiet...WRONG... i kept knocking and talking to everyone I could see.....sad thing was some people actually live there and had seen the bugs and didnt know what they were or how to get rid of them....anyway to make an even longer story short , ..I picked up three of the bugs and took them to his office and set them on his counter and told him to refund her money or I was going to keep bringing them to him...well he gladly gave her money back to her,(it should have been doubled or tripled )because it was 10 oclock tonight and she had to repack her stuff in plastic bags and keep it seperate from her belongings in the car etc..and find another hotel.....the manager wanted me gone and kept telling me that bedbugs are a worldwide epidemic and that they are everywhere LOL.....he was foreign and very rude and could care less about the situation...DO NOT STAY THERE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND YOUR CHILDRENS

I have been trying to get my refund for two unused nights since January. I called 3 days in advance to cancel, the owner promised to mail me a check and never did. I always hear "stories" like "he went outside", "he is in New Jersey", "he is busy", he is not here", "I need to ask my wife" and on and on and on... Isn't that comical? The guy is a motel owner and he cannot refund 60 (sixty!) dollars for 8 months! I think it's totally enough to realize who are you dealing with.

there is nothing to like about the apple garden hotel... me and my gf and her family lived there for 2 years cuz we had no were else to go...the place is filthy and crawling with bed bugs and roaches... the people who live there are child molesters and druggies and prostitutes MR.AMIN AND MR PATEL ARE ROBBERS DONT STAY AT APPLE GARDEN INN BECAUSE IF YOU DO YOU ARE GAURANTEED TO BE CHEATED OUT OF YOUR MONEY... A few days ago the roof of the motel collapsed and crushed someones car so patel kicked us all out and called the police and he left us homeless after he took $300 bucks for the rent then kicked us out without a refund

Dirty room, furnishings are worn out. I do not have one single positive thing to say about the location. There is a reason for cash only and for the NO REFUND sign posted at the check-in desk.

I stayed in the motel for one night and got bug bites. The owner of the Apple Garden Inn Amin is a fraud. I mention about nightmare at apple garden Inn to my cousin whose friend was cheated by Amin. Amin is very good in luring people into doing business with him and then dumps the people after sucking their money. He is a fraud and I will never stay at this motel again.

I work all over in the last 8yrs never had a problem with bed bugs , Until the apple garden inn in ashland ,Va ,Stayed there thurday( and the only place i stayed that week ) friday i noticed bite marks and then my wife checked me out and 60 plus bites ....NEVER AGAIN will I or any one from the company stay there ...... 9/17/10 ....Room 111

I booked on Priceline. When i got there with my confirmation reciept at 10:30pm 7/8/10, a white man at the counter looked puzzled. He said "Let me go check." An Indian man comes in looks at the paper and in the computer and says that they have no rooms available... My credit card has been charged $50 for a room i never set foot in. And the phone number listed for the hotel is not being answered. It just rings and rings... I will never ever book at this hotel and probably never use Priceline ever again, because they are being jerks and dont want to assist me at all. Im like - the hotel is YOUR boy! Yall need to go holler at them for my dough. Idk them.

much to na avail,the apple garden inn is under investigation,and faces a law siute due to an infestation of bed bugs,not to mention the black mold and mildew that is making people ill.sal patel needs to be deported back to his country in never return he has abused our system and has brought disrespect to our community,his soliciting of young females and the other criminal activities that he partakes in is indecent and degrading.he is a rude arrogant man whom refers to women as b...hes and criticizes our president and mocks our GOD.he should be hung and burned,packed up and shipped back to his country.if you value your safety by pass the apple garden inn,this place is crawling with germs.
