America's Worst Inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/14/06
My wife and I stayed here one night during our honeymoon trip and we regreted every minute of the stay. The first room they put us in was HOT from the start and the air conditioner never worked well enough to cool the room. They moved us to another room after an hour and a half. The second room was no better. The air conditioner blew HOT air. We had to go to K-Mart and purchase a box fan to circulate the air. Finally about 2-3AM on Sunday morning the room started cooling off. To get a good nights sleep in a room where it was close to 80-85 degrees during the night was a joke.
The hotel manager did not offer to refund our money for the absolute most terrible stay. I have never had to purchase a fan or anything else to cool off any hotel room that I have ever stayed in.
When checking out all I received was an apology for the stay my wife and I had to endure. The manager did not offer a refund for the room, fan or both.
My recommendation is to not stay at America's Worst Inn...you will be sorry you ever did. I believe the rooms have all defective air conditioners and they know it. As the two rooms they had my wife and I stay in both had bad air conditioners.
BEWARE!!!
