The owner was really helpful: doing everything from suggesting a specific taxi company that uses hybrid cars when we made the reservation; to accepting our bags hours ahead of check-in, to making great suggestions for restaurants and sights. The breakfast was lovely; a plentiful hot dish and many optional sides, served on beautiful china in an antique-filled formal dining area. Unlike the other reviewer who sounds very much like they had created a communication problem by saying they were vegetarian instead of VEGAN, I found the service caring and complete. The quiet location and view were so pleasant, espcially appreciated for the 1/2 price rate we obtained by using the Stash Tea BnB offer.
Liked the view from their living room but that was about it. Towels were still wet/damp.Breakfast was bad...can anyone ruin pancakes??!!!! We are vegetarian and told her beforehand that we will not be eating any eggs. BUt what was breakfast on our asecond morning there? Frittata which is mainly eggs. And, not one apology when we said we already mentioned we don't eat eggs. We get cornflakes instead! Am I not paying for breakfast too when I go to a bed and breakfast? Plus it is the indifferent attitude that really got to me! I think I could have gone to a hotel and felt more at home and welcome!!!!
