Dutch Motel Palmyra, Palmyra

Don't believe positive reviews! Ask anyone in the neighborhood, ask any other hotels, ad the will tell you how many complaints they hear about the Dutch Motel. WiFi goes out every 30min-2hrs, TV had no remote & color settings were off rooms have no microwave (one on a wooden shelf outside front office, outdoors), cigarette burns in the blankets in non-smoking rooms, housekeeping every 2-3 days, and an unfriendly staff. Cops were arresting parole violators in the day, and drug dealers were making deals at night. You are better off spending the extra money for a better location. Don't ruin your vacation or business trip by staying here

Me and my wife arrived at this motel, we received our room key and opened the door to the room and it was dirty. The sheets were stained, there was hair on the bathroom floor and in the tub. We then decided to find another motel/hotel. About an hour and half later we found another motel. We then went to the office to get a refund and they would not refund our money. WORST MOTEL EVER!!

We had to stop last minute at this place on our trip to teneese. We payed 50 bucks in cash. We walked into the room to discover that the room 14 was infested with flees. They crawled all over us bitting at our legs and arms. They got into our hair. We were in the room for about 40 seconds. Luckily we got a refund. We later learned that some one there previously had dogs. Avoid this place unless you like 30 someodd flees junping all over you.

Have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years when I drop off my vehicle for repairs at a truck facility in Harrisburg. For this trip it was unpleasantly hot out. But it was nice to get this quiet hotel and cool off from a long trip. Owner makes you feel welcome. Price is right

It was amazing staying here at the Dutch Motel in Palmyra, just minutes away from Hershey. I loved my King Size bedroom, it was clean and neat. The bathroom was spotless and it was nice to get cleaned up after working 12 hours. Excellent location with numerous restaurants nearby. Definitely would stay here in the future!

I was in town and had to find a place to stay last minute. It was the first place and only place we looked. Room was clean, Nice huge bed and the service was fine. we will stay again when in town! Georgia and Andrew

I booked this room online for 3 people when I got there I had to pay extra for an additional person. The room was dirty, the sheets did not fit the bed and the front desk person was very rude and pretended not to understand english. After paying extra for the 3rd peron I had to go back down and ask for towels becasue there was only 1 in the room, they told me that that was all we were allowed!!! We need some ice for our cooler but all that was allowed was on small bag- about a zip loc baggie full- per room. When I checked out I asked for a folio and they refused to give me one and then followed me out to the car and yelled at me for having a bad attitude. By the time that I had to pay for all of the extras I could have stayed at a 5 star hotel right in Hersey. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Oh and if you do stay ask for a foom on the first floor cause the stairs leading up to the second floor sway and feel like they are going to collapse under you.

Good things: It was clean and the bed was a king size. The air-conditioner worked The shower had water. Things to watch for: The price, not as quoted on the website, she charged us $20.00 more for not booking ahead Wi-Fi barely works Coffee was horrible Micro wave is by the office, outside and there is only one Don't expect any service, it isn't in their vocabulary They didn't seem to like motor-cycles Expect to asked to leave earlier than the posted 11 am

We had a good 3 days here from California first time in PA We found the manager welcoming and friendly in fact lent me his laptop to send emails home Kids liked the location great to be near by distance from HERSHEY PARK. There is a tiny pool if you want to cool off. I would say great place to be stay in,

Great price for the double-bed room. Clean, friendly staff, and would stay again in my future visit to Hershey. Very close to the attractions. Excellent!
