The Dutch Motel is a Dirty Hole
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/09
The Dutch Motel is filthy. Broken furniture lines the perimeter of the property. Each morning the owners (not housekeepers) "clean" the rooms by stripping the linens and washing them in tiny washer/dryer units located in the back of the building--the doors are sometimes left open (in an alley) allowing visitors to view the owners' private areas; after seeing the squalor, I would not recommend this motel to my worst enemy.
In addition, an efficiency apartment building stands on the property and appears even more disgusting than the main motel. There are no screens in the windows and people appear to be living in the attic (?) There is a wicker, upholstered chair sitting outside the entrance along with other piles of random junk. It looks like there used to be a kitchen fan or other such exhaust unit in the 2nd floor but it has been haphazardly torn out and now bare, broken wall remains.
I would not stay in any room on this property if THEY paid me--it is positively scary. The guests are just as questionable as the staff. The people meandering around the property look like they should be on WANTED posters of the Megan's Law records--scary.
