Noisy street
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/17/08
Rooms are clean; great complimentary breakfast; reasonable rates, manager was cordial and offered a discount on my next stay when I complained about not getting to sleep the night before because of the noisy street traffic. I would not go there again but only because of the location. This hotel has two main streets with heavy traffic on both sides of the hotel. Even running the a/c and fan didn't drown out the noise.

Great Bargain!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/14/07
I was attending a Conference at a nearby hotel that ran out of rooms, so stayed here instead. I was worried about staying here because the price of $99/night was so much cheaper than all the other hotels nearby. There was no need to worry! Hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again!

NICE HOTEL
By FA, 08/24/07
This hotel was very clean and proximal to the airport, pentagon city mall, and dc. The hotel offers a daily breakfast that was good for the kids, a clean swimming pool, a business center with two computers that customers may use, and 24 hour coffee/tea in the breakfast area. There is a microwave and small refrigerator in each room and the beds are very comfortable. I got charged for a movie we didn't watch but they quickly refunded me so their staff was friendly. A downfall is the $10/day parking that is charged for using the garage.

Wonderful hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/30/06
Our family stayed for 4 nights in March 2006. This hotel was conveniently located. Close to several shopping and dining places as well an only a short walk to the Crystal City Metro station. We found the hotel to be immaculate. The desk staff was very helpful. The hotel provided us free transportation to and from the airport and to Arlington cemetery. The morning breakfast was a pleasant surprise. It was more than adequate. This hotel was an excellent choice and will be on the top of my list for any future trips to the DC area.

Great breakfast!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/04/06
Clean, well cared for with friendly staff and close to the Metro Stop. Will stay there every time I go to DC. Nice pool and spa. Very safe, but easy to get to attractions. Multiple dinner options nearby.

Excellent choice in hotels
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/27/06
Not knowing the area the entire staff was extremely helpful in guiding us where we needed to go. Any room requests were handled immediately. Continental breakfast was fabulous and clean. Recommended friends to this hotel and would come back to it!

Best Little Hampton Inn in the D.C. Area
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/17/06
excellent hotel with proximity to metro, and good shopping and dining closeby. Have stayed several times both for personal travel and business travel, and find it excellent on all counts.

Will use again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/20/05
What I liked and compare to same in other DC area hotels I"ve stayed in: This hotel...was QUIET! The rooms must be well insulated, I really appreciated that. Large countertop in bathroom...yes, yes, yes. Coffee maker...Big yes. Computer hookup--totally necessary.... The showercurtain rod....love that extra room. Fast elevators, never had to wait long. Complimentary breakfast was the best! Shuttle on demand was great. Downside....wished they had benches outside to use while waiting for transportation. Otherwise my experience at this hotel was the best yet in DC area.

Perfect place to stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/27/05
Our family of four (mom, dad, 14 and 8) spent seven nights here last week and made it our base for our DC trip. This decision was based on Tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a microwave, fridge and separate bedroom. The best rates were through Travelocity. This quiet hotel is located about 1 1/2 blocks away from the Crystal City metro station, with the yellow and blue lines. Reagan airport is a mile away and we only heard a couple of planes the whole time we were there. There is also a free shuttle to and from the airport. There are many restaurants closeby, but some of them cater to the 8-5 crowd and are not open late. We found a McDonalds, Subway, Legal Seafoods, Chilis, Chipolte, McCormick's steakhouse and some others that were open. The sit down restaurants are on street level and the others are below ground in an "underground" mall. There is a 7-11 about 2 blocks to the south for stuff to cook in the microwave. The hotel also has a "Suite Shop" with microwavable food. There was coffee and popcorn in the room. Tip: pick up hot chocolate in the morning at breakfast and use it with the hot water available at the breakfast bar later in the day. The breakfast had hot foods such as french toast sticks, sausage patties, scrambled egg patties and sausage gravy. There were bagels, biscuits, cereal, toast, english muffins and fruit. There were all types of coffee, apple, orange, and cranberry juice, milk, etc. We stuffed up in the morning and could sightsee until mid-afternoon before having lunch. Enterprise Car Rental is about 50 yards south of the hotel and it is very convenient to get to other places from this hotel. We got to Dulles and Mt. Vernon quickly and easily. The beds were comfortable and the kids liked the pool. The free high speed internet access is also a nice feature. This is definitely a "stay again".
