Built in 1871, a classic Italianate brick three story house built by a boyhood friend of Mark Twain, offers spacious rooms, a flying staircase all the way to the third floor, original marble fireplaces, huge pocket doors separating the two parlors. Original inside shutters still are in use in many of the 9' lace covered windows. Ceilings are 12 1/2 feet high and each room has a closet. Each room has a private bath and some have refrigerators.
