WE LOVED IT!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/25/07
My family and I (four people) spent four days in Paris after spending three days in London, and we were pleasantly surprised by both the size of the room that we were given and the friendliness of the staff at the Claude Bernard. The location was amazing! We walked to Notre Dame, the Louvre, and all through the Latin Quarter daily, and it was a quick metro ride to the Eiffel Tower, and Versailles. After our stay, we left for the Charles De Gaul Airport, only to get there and find that our flight had been canceled, hundreds of tourists were displaced for the next three to four days, but we called the Claude Bernard, and they welcomed us back without hesitation, although we were very frustrated with our airline, we were so pleased with the Claude Bernard and their impeccable service to their guests. Our canceled flight could have potentially ruined our wonderful trip, but because we had a place to stay, our minds were put at ease. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was incredibly delicious, and most of all, the staff was helpful, kind, trustworthy, and friendly.

Location, Location, Location

My 2 daughters and I loved staying in the Latin Quarter where we could walk to the Seine and Notre Dame. The hotel was cozy and friendly. We felt as though our top floor room was our own Paris garret. The convenience to metro stops was great. But the best treat was the fresh bagettes and croissants each morning in the breakfast room. We will definately plan to return.

Wish I Was Still There...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/12/07
The Hotel Claude Bernard is amazing. I just got back from a month long study abroad program in Paris, and we stayed at the Hotel CB and it became "home" so quickly that leaving was really difficult. From our balcony on the sixth floor, we could see the spires of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Basilica of Sacre Coeur, and if we leaned out a bit, the top of the Eiffel Tower. The neighborhood is welcoming and with the metro stops (Maubert-Mutualite and Saint Michel), anywhere in the city is within walking distance. I cannot wait to go back to Paris, and when I do, I will definitely stay at the HCB. Sans doute!

Convenience & Charm in Paris
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/4/05
Hotel Claude Bernard gave me and my friend the Paris experience I have always dreamed of. It's small and charming. We stayed one week and the staff were so friendly from moment we arrived, it was like we were staying with old friends. We got hugs all around when we finally had to leave. The continental breakfast was so fresh because the staff would jaunt over to the patisserie across the street several times during the morning to pick up the freshest bread and croissants. Our room was modest and tidy and bathroom was large, updated and clean. And the location was PARIS PERFECT --adjacent to the Sorbonne, two blocks from the Pantheon and Cluny, Left Bank nightlife, a pleasant walk to St. Germaine and Luxembourg Gardens, the Seine and Notre Dame-- and several metro stations. A tremendous value. I can't wait to stay there again.
