Encanto El Faro, Playa del Carmen

I've been to Playa for the last ten years, every year for christmas vacation. And I can say from first hand experience that it doesn't get any better than El Faro. The staffs professionalism shines and the atmospheres friendliness only adds to the beautifull beach front local. Speaking of the beach, El Faro sits directly on the shores edge with the nicest stretch of beach in the entire town. The location doesn't get any better than this, only a hop-skip-and-jump away from main street Playa (shops, restaurants, clubs) anything you need is right there as close as you can get without staying in a hotel on main street. The grounds are well kept, and the rooms offer not only luxury but a fantastic view no matter what room you book. Of course the prices are high but what do you expect from such a first-class hotel, it's well worth it. I expect to return very soon to El Faro, it's that slice of paradise that'll make you want to tell people you stayed at Hotel El Faro.

I never stayed here but did spend a day at the poolside bar. It was amazing. I loved the hotel. The grounds were gorgeous. I cant imagine any negative review. We are going to go back and spend a weekend there.
