Suite Novotel Hamburg City, Hamburg

This hotel was the best choice for my husband's and I on our trip to Hamburg. Don't let the lack of photo's or information discourage you from going as it is a new hotel. The hotel offers a special rate for 3 night stay (which is what we did from Friday to Monday) for only 139 euro. The room is spacious and very modern and unlike most German hotels offers a shower and a bath.
The location is excellent, just one stop on the U-Bahn away from the main train station. This also made it easy for us to travel around the city.
As far as amenities go, it's so-so. I guess due to the low price they don't offer as much as other hotels. They offer free croissants and coffee or tea for breakfast as opposed to the usual breakfast offered by most European hotels and you have to go downstairs to use the "ironing room", no shampoo or other toiletries were readily available. They don't have an on site restaurant which made finding something to eat a challenge, but they have a special deal with a restaurant close by for their guests for 20% off a meal.
All in all it was an excellent place and I would highly recommend you using it the next time your in Hamburg (I know I will).
