The room was small. There were no toiletries and the glasses were plastic. I accidentally cracked my glass and there was no replacement the next day. No closet space or dresser or suitcase stand just one bar with two hangers. There was a desk in the room but was not located near an outlet. I had to sit on the floor to use my laptop in order to be near an electrical outlet. I had no cell service in the hotel and there was no telephone provided in the room. The hotel itself was new and very modern and clean. If you are looking for a nice, clean place to sleep for a night, this is perfect. If you are going on a vacation, holiday or are trying to do some work while you are there, this is not the hotel for you.
This hotel was the best choice for my husband's and I on our trip to Hamburg. Don't let the lack of photo's or information discourage you from going as it is a new hotel. The hotel offers a special rate for 3 night stay (which is what we did from Friday to Monday) for only 139 euro. The room is spacious and very modern and unlike most German hotels offers a shower and a bath. The location is excellent, just one stop on the U-Bahn away from the main train station. This also made it easy for us to travel around the city. As far as amenities go, it's so-so. I guess due to the low price they don't offer as much as other hotels. They offer free croissants and coffee or tea for breakfast as opposed to the usual breakfast offered by most European hotels and you have to go downstairs to use the "ironing room", no shampoo or other toiletries were readily available. They don't have an on site restaurant which made finding something to eat a challenge, but they have a special deal with a restaurant close by for their guests for 20% off a meal. All in all it was an excellent place and I would highly recommend you using it the next time your in Hamburg (I know I will).
