Monticello Inn, Monticello

I had read reviews and was apprahensive of staying at the Inn. However everything else was book or extremely expensive. I will say that the Inn is older, but it is clean and the staff is so friendly. I completely enjoyed my visit to Monticello. If you are looking for an indoor pool, workout room, and all the luxuries this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a nice place to lay your head, it is a great value!

The monticello in is awesome. Quaint looking, clean, and very friendly staff. The hotel is a ma and son operation so you are dealing with the owners. when we arrived they offered us discounts on indiana beach tickets, gave us recommendations on a fine resturant - the harvest inn. when we came home from our first day at indiana beach it was about 9pm the owner was closing the pool but he opened the pool so my children could swim...how sweet. The next day was even better...the pool is soooo clean and the pinic area is even cleaner. so quiet and relaxing. Finally, parking is free, the maids were friendly and knowledgeable of the area and offered so many towels and extras...all this for 78 dollars a night...who could ask for more. Holiday Inn...eat your heart out.

Although it was back in June of 2004, I did enjoy my stay here at the Monticello Inn in Monticello, Indiana if it was only for one night. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and very accommodating. The motel is very convenient because it is right on the main highway that goes in and out of Monticello. Also, given that Monticello is not that big of a town, it is not far from the Indiana Beach Amusement Park either. If you are looking for a place to stay in Monticello, Indiana, I would recommend the Monticello Inn as one place to consider.
