Standard breakfast. Rooms are a bit tired, but still nice. Staff is very nice.

Just across from 6 flags and close to cal arts. Quiet clean comfortable. Walk to Starbucks. Nice heated pool and hot tub. Very low crime area.

I booked 2 weeks here for a business trip, upon arrival the staff were very helpful but the room itself was not very clean, there was a lot of dust on the walls and skirting's, the work table was filthy and sticky, the 2nd week the room was cleaner (different room), but it seems to me they don't have anyone checking the rooms on a regular basis, other than that there were no real problems, there is a Denny's in the same parking lot and for those not on business it is very close to 6 flags magic mountain and many restaurants and amenities, just a short distance on the other side of the I5 Freeway is Marie Calendars, Red Lobster and other restaurants. Recommended but check your room first and make sure you can change it if it is dirty. All rooms have mini fridge and microwave, also they have smoking and non smoking rooms, a rarity these days for smokers.

the room was kinda dirty--with a sticky (yuck!) nightstand and all over dustiness. the most annoying aspect of the room was the bathroom light made the most horrible noise when on. thankfully we weren't in the room that often or i would have called to have it fixed, and we didn't discover it until we had totally unpacked. the other really disappointing part of our stay there was a very large group of 20+(?) kids that were slamming doors, accidentally calling our room (at 10:30pm!!), knocking at our door, running in the halls, and just causing misery for everyone around them. the hotel repeatedly threatened to kick them out, but didn't. i guess staying across the street from magic mountain was the mistake (we were only there for a local graduation). also, we had reserved a certain type of suite that ajoined to our family members next door--not only did we not get the suite we reserved, the rooms did not connect. the room was too expensive for the headaches it gave--though the pool was nice (the hot tub was closed when we were there), the breakfast was fine, and the staff seemed friendly enough.

I was treated in a very professional manner. Besides the neighbors slamming the door through the night; my fiance and I enjoyed our stay. I was greeted with a fantastic breakfast in the morning and it was delicious. We shall return for another weekend of absolute FUN IN THE SUN!!

Very nice family place. Close to sixflags, nice pool, good breakfast and Dennys next door for the hungry teenagers. Also easy access to town center.

the nice thing about staying at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites was the location. Every year, our family and a couple of others spend a 2-3 trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain. If you choose to stay here, you are only a half mile to Six Flags and about a mile to downtown Valencia, which is full of great restaurants and shopping. On my first stay, I wasn't expecting anything more than a simple motel, but boy was I wrong ! The lobby, though compact, is like something out of a Hilton ! The breakfast area is complete with plenty of seating and a 42 inch plasma television. The rooms were the biggest surprise. We booked a two queen room (for our family)and it was very quiet. The new "Simply Smart" bedding is tasteful and luxuriously comfortable. The number of cable channels was also unexpected. There was also complimentary high speed internet access. The breakfast was a very delicious continental style meal. But, if your not into that kind of thing, there is always the Denny's in the parking lot. I will definetly stay again.

If you're traveling to Six Flags Magic Mountain, this hotel has got to be the first option for you. Absolutely great service, cleanliness and comfort. Right by a Denny's if you go for their food, otherwise very short drive to tons of places to eat. We stayed 2 nights and even walked to Magic Mountain. (No $15 parking fee!) This is a no-brainer if your staying for Magic Mountain.

What a wonderful experience. This place was clean, very well kept, great continental breakfast, great service and reasonably priced. The location could not be better, it is right across the freeway from Six Flags Magic Mountain. Our family had just stayed at a Sheraton the evening prior and this place was far superior. Outstanding!

This was our 2nd time staying here after visiting Magic Mountain. The staff was so friendly and their service is excellent, the hotel is very clean and comfortable, the pool/hot tub was very clean and warm (even in the month of December), and the breakfast had lots of choices. And they were able to accomodate my family of 5 in one room. We will definately be back again and again.
