Dar Les Cigognes consists of two contiguous Riads dating from the 17th century. Architect of Tunisian origin Charles Boccara (originator of Theâtre Royal ) helped design this luxury boutique hotel, which is largely inspired by Moroccan art. Each room is decorated with the methods and the handicraft of a particular region of Morocco. The extremely comfortable rooms, often featuring a chimney, will make you feel like you're on a journey; for instance, the Sahara room offers desert landscapes painted on tadelakt walls by the former chief of the Arts Section of the University of Baghdad. The verdant patios, the terraces and the beautiful hammam complete the harmony of the place. The Moroccan restaurant within is definitely worth trying. Property Information by Wcities, Inc |
