Kanantik Reef & Jungle Resort, Dangriga

This was by far one of our best vacations. The resort is spectacular and the staff is outstanding. Not sure what problem people have with Roberto we found him engaging and really quite interesting. There was not one thing we would have changed during our stay there. The all inclusive nature of the resort was wonderful woth each day choosing which adventure we wanted to go on. The meals were quite good with enough choices. This is a wonderful spectacular place that will haveyou wanting to return the moment you leave.

My husband and I honeymooned here in December. Weather was great. Service couldn't be beat. Location was ideal (very secluded and romantic). Meals were always something that were much looked forward to. The snorkling was unbelievable! It's worth the money. This place would be hard to beat. We read reviews that it wouldn't be a good place for young couples, but we were 21 and 23 and were not treated any differently than others. Con: The bugs. I had bites still itching for about 3 weeks after leaving and they were by the masses.

Our family just returned from Kanantik and we would highly recommend the resort for diving, snorkeling, exploring ruins and wildlife reserves and stretching out by the beach. The cuisine was superb,the service is beyond compare and you do not even have to wear shoes to dinner! We will be returning.

Just returned from Kanantik and had a wonderful time. Everyone was so friendly and the location is something right out of a movie. I can see if are a 20 something and think Britney Spears is a role model then you might not appreciate the effort that has gone into making Kanantik a unique experience. Kanantik is not a spring break resort. It is a quiet, picturesque, all-inclusive resort with a keen attention to detail. It is nice that the owner makes an effort to keep Kanantik pristine, quiet, and of a class that rivals many 5 star European resorts. If you don't appreciate these kinds of details then you should probably go to some of the other standard fare resorts. Be sure to do some snorkeling on South Water Caye. Kim

Its a great spot.Beautifully done. But the owner/manager ruined it. He is a pain. Bothersome and quarrelsome. You just want to avoid him. And he's mean to his staff. The place seems doomed because of his bad vibes. Shame.

The manager seemed to hate younger people who stayed there. Otherwise, It was wonderful! The rooms were nice and the sevice was exellent. I would recomend this resort if you are older, or wait untill the manager is retired of fired.

"I was looking for the perfect place to propose to my girlfriend and after seeing the pictures of Kanantik in Belize I knew this was the place. The owner Roberto spoiled us from the moment we arrived. And wow was Kanantik even more spectacular than I ever could of imagined. Every day the staff meet us with a smile and every day Clifton, the bar tender, made us another perfect drink as we soaked in the sun and solitude in a shangri la like setting. Each day another adventure awaited us. Canoeing down a jungle river looking for manatees, like something out of National Geographic or snorkeling on a reef so awash with colors it almost seemed like a dream. With hand crafted beach front cabanas like nothing we had ever seen, the setting was perfect to propose to her." And she said yes. My now wife and I thank you Kanantik!

The setiing of Kanantik is a beautiful remote beach with no other places around. We were satisfied to except this but the owner kept bothering us and lacked respect for us, I felt it was that were young. We understand the work envolved in developing such a place as Kanantic but we were there to enjoy ourselves and the country of Belize. Our complaint was the owner otherwise we would have been satisfied with our stay.
