To be fair we stayed at one of the chalet's because the hotel was being remodeled. The one we were given was a dump. The refridgerator was filthy. It didn't work and it smelled bad. The bathroom was pretty basic
except for the rust around the drain, that was exceptional, a perfect ring of orange. The tv was a beat up old 13inch that only received one fairly viewable channel. The blankets and sheets on the beds were stained and dirty. we reported the problem about the bed and they gave us "practically new" sheets and blankets. They didn't send anyone in to check or to change them, they just handed my wife a bag of "new" bedding. When we took them out of the "new" packaging the edges were threadbare and the sheets had holes in them. After staying for a few hours my wife and I decided to try the restaurant. The food was the same kind I would expect at a $3.95 all you can eat restaurant. Lots of pasta salads. Not good pasta salads, just a lot of them , three, to be exact. After going back to the room we decided we didn't really want to sleep in such a dirty place. We went to complain and all they could tell us was "Sorry but the hotel was being remodeled" If I was staying in a room in the hotel I could understand, but I was complaining about the chalet in a totally different building than the hotel. and why would any hotel/motel/ b&b give the customer the sheets to change in their room. If I wanted my wife to change sheets on a bed I would have stayed home. I was appaled by the lower level of cleanliness, but the total lack of professionalism is unheard of. I told my wife I may go back when my vision is totally gone and my sense of smell and taste have totally deteriorated. well maybe not even then because I would still have my sense of touch and that means I'd find the holes in the sheets. I'd also have my sense of hearing so I'd still hear other people complaining about how bad this place was ....
