Do not Book

Hello Mrs. Smith,
My family and I stayed at your hotel form 12/29/10 - 01/01/11.........
We have never had an experience as we did at this hotel, to begin with the check in was ok when we got there....
Well I wonder how long the 2nd elevator has been down - looked up reviews on your hotel seemed to be down a long time now....
The rooms, hall ways where old and very uninviting, beds very uncomfortable........Bath towels ??? They where small and felt like sand...Oh yes toilet leaked, staff had to come and repair it....
Boy when we booked our rooms how happy we where to learn there was a restaurant on site - oh well that was closed the whole stay (we where never informed it would be closed when our room was booked)
Ok we tried to make the best - 2nd day our room was cleaned they forgot to give us coffee and sugar for am, we my husband went down stairs to retrieve some (hey over $300 to stay maybe we can have morning coffee) well the man behind the desk was rude we got our coffee but we where informed there was no sugar - Hello the whole hotel over $300 to stay and we could not have sugar, the man behind the desk really did not care to be bothered with our request.........
Now comes the best - new years night we went out to dinner (because your restaurant was closed) - walking in the front door there where people on the 5th floor balcony trying to pee on us as we walked by- YES I SAID PEE, URINATE HOW EVER YOU WISH TO WORD IT...
We go to the front desk where we have your same employee who really does not care to accommodate your guest, he walked out looked up then on the ground told us did not see pee, soo I had to point out the puddle for him...
Five minutes later he returns to tell me it was beer they were pouring put and he made it seems that was ok, nice to walk into your hotel with the chance of having urine or beer on your head, trust me it was not beer and your employee new it.......When I spoke to the front desk in the AM they said there was security present that night, well the man who work the night shift did not feel it necessary to send security to the room...
I explained my experience at your hotel in the morning when I was checking out, I feel a reimbursement should be given - I was told because we booked with the Bell Capital Cup tournament we would not be honored any type of reimbursement....As far as I can see in no way the treatment we received from your employees, the lack of guest service has nothing to do with the Bell Capital Cup organization.......
I would appreciate a reply form you along with some sort of reimbursement on my credit card.....
I will send along to the Bell Capital Cup our experience along with you reply, it is there organization who recommended your hotel, I am sure if they know of guest experience's they may want to take your hotel off their list......If guest experiences do not improve.......
1 Very good chance of being urinated on or beer poured on your head as you enter the hotel
2 Rooms, hallway old uninviting
3 Beds old and uncomfortable
4 Bath towels like sand paper
5 Leaky toilets
6 Restaurant not open - Guest never told it would be closed during their stay - we checked hotels right next door had their restaurants open, had to eat their
7 No sugar in the whole hotel for AM coffee when the cleaning lady forgot to supply our room with coffee and sugar, per the front desk
8 Extremely rude employees.........
9 Only on elevator works
