Americana Waterpark Resort and Spa, Niagara Falls

me and my wife went to this great hotel hoping the best. and got the best. water park was out of this world. ive personaly never found a proublem with americana hotels but out of all of them this one was the best food great rooms very roomy and clean

Who needs Great Wolf Lodge when you can stay here for a fraction of the price! It was great! Kids really enjoyed the indoor waterpark. Very clean and a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Our trip was great. We were able to check in two hours early, our room was spotlessly clean. I also read the reviews and was concerned, no need to be. My family loved it and can't wait to go back next summer. The waterpark was incredible, when I got waterlogged, I was able to easily find a table where I could relax and still see my children. Life guards were all over and I mean ALL OVER. We didn't have to leave the resort for any thing. We did, to sightsee. Jack Tanners was great too. Good food and decent prices. Once again, we can't wait to go back.

This place was the best. The rooms were clean and nice. We didn't have any money problems and the waterpark was awsome. They also had a very cute lifeguard (john)overall this place was great

I went to this hotel on December 9, 2005 and had a great stay! My kids (5 and 7 years old) had a blast in the waterpark and were upset when we had to leave. The room was great (a 2 room suite on the 3rd floor) and we had some much needed privacy from the kids at night! We ate in the restaurant a bit and enjoyed the food but also found a pizza place which delivered to our room! I'm not sure why anyone would have a bad experience. The staff was wonderful especially Karen who even set up for a limo ride for us all! Don't let the negativity stop you from booking! You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful Resort..we had the best vacation ever,the kids just loved the waterpark and video arcade...great food,clean rooms.the spa was really good. we would definetly go again

Contrary to other to other reviews we thought it clean compfortable and the staff were very friendly we have just booked again before returning to australia.

Great service here booking my reservation by phone, checking in, restaurant and waterpark staff. "Far" from the Falls? Took us less than 10 mins to drive tho hard to find parking by Falls (BTW resort has free parking). Kids loved the waterpark, lots of lifegards but I could see them where ever they went anyway. Great pizza but drinks pricy. Room was nice and clean, kids had their own bunk beds with tv/dvd player. Fridge and micro in room a nice touch. Beautiful spa tho I didn't get to have a massage...next time! front lobby was almost done renovation, nice modern style. Restaurant just your run of the mill roadhouse, also a bit pricy but good food. Only a couple blocks to a factory outlet mall for good shopping. We'll definitely go back, maybe in winter.

We were only there for one night and spent little time in the room and really had no time to go to water park. The room seem clean and when we needed extra pillows they brought them to the room before we returned to the room. We also ate at the restrauant and enjoyed the food. The prices were outrageous. The taxes they charge in Canada are out of this world compared to the U.S. We were also told that using our charge care would insure correct exchange from our bank which did not happen. But overall a nice hotel.

Having read reviews from this site and others that were less than stellar, I had some concerns before my family and I set off on our two-day trip this past Canada Day. However, I am happy to report that this is a good place to stay for Niagara Falls....not too close and not too far. The room rate we check in at was the same as the one in the reservation. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and the food in Jack Tanner's the on-site restaurant was good(if you like TV with your meal, the booths have their own TVs with better channel selection than you will find in your room..that kept the kids from getting bored waiting for their meal). The water park was excellent and my kids did not want to leave there!! As for reports of this hotel being in a seedy location, that is in the eye of the beholder. I did not find the area seedy at all,While there are strip clubs just a few-tenths of a mile west of the hotel, going east down Lundy's Lane is a typical business district, with a Tim Horton's within 2 blocks walking distance and other eateries, etc. etc. The strip clubs are not visible from the hotel itself, at least not from my room. All things considered I would rather stay here than at Clifton Hill at the falls which is congested, busy and noisy like any high tourist area. The only downside is that I felt the room rate was too high, even with a waterpark, (which you have to pay an extra fee for).
