The hotel is convenient (right across the street). The staff us helpful, and they do offer a light breakfast of yogurt, Danish, muffins, an assortment of cold cereal, coffeee, tea, and 2% milk as well as OJ.
Yes, the carpets are older and the room decor dated, but there is a mini fridge and rooms avaialble with a microwave/2-burner stove for a little extra. Air conditioning is essentially non-existent, but the window does open. Be careful because it had no screen in it, and a young child could conceivably fall/get pushed out in my opinion.
We were permiited to park there before checking in while we went to the clinic, and to park there a while after checking out.
There is a muslim prayer room, but none for other faiths---I don't know, maybe someone/group sponsors it at their own expense, but it would have been a thoughtful touch for others to have been available.
The rate was reasonable, but the TAXES are not. I was unpleasantly surprised by the sales tax, county tax, and city taxxes that abounted to about 13-15% (I think). Free shuttle buses come and go at fairly regulat intervals, but walking distance is quite near. The room was clean.
The Guest house was a god-send for us and it served our purpose well. Would I book it for a vacation as a resort? Not likely.
