It was not good
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/3/09
Do not stay there!!! The worst hotel expirience ever!!!!. First my wife found the rooms on sale for 105$ a day on hotels.com. Sowe decided to book the rooms for us ant our friends. When we checked in and walked into the room i was shocked, because the pictures on the web side made room look much much bigger. The room is about 80 SQ feet, the bathroom was about the same . The central ac unit is located right behind the tv and i could not sleep all night! . The next morning i made a complaint, but they told me that all the rooms are the same, let's not forget how rude they are!I was told that I want to change the room I will have to pay extra 40 $ a day plus tax. Fine we did the upgrade, everything was ok till they day when we checked out. First they promised us the internet for 9.95 for the duration of the stay, but they charged us for every day 9.95!!!!. Then charged us for ordering 3 movies while we not in a room at all! Then they billed us 25$ a day for valet paring, but they charged for 2 cars while we had only one!! Then 16$ everyday for ammenities. It was a very bad bad expirience

Don't Believe it.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/24/08
Dont't believe the reviews that state the pool and the rooms are large, they are both tiny. The hotel is a condo which is privately owned and Le Meridien is only managing it, so the positive reviews must be written by owners of these rooms as what they state is absolutely false. Think twice before booking if you are looking a pool and spacious rooms as for the money there are better options in Sunny Isles Beach.

A spectacular vacation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/22/08
The Le Meridien has a great location on the water, and across the street from a plaza filled with interesting foods. The rooms are large and the deck has an amazing view of the water. The pool, beach, and hot tub are very large and relaxing! I cant wait to come back to the Le Meridien!

This hotel was just absolutely perfect. It was elegant, classy, and spacious. It was just amazing value. The hotel employes are so helpful and caring. The restaurant in the lobby is just wonderful, and it is very close to the up beat south beach. I will come again every year and will always have a great time!!!!!!!!

Choose A Different Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/4/07
We stayed at Le Meridian Memorial Day Week. The only thing this hotel has going for it is that it's on the beach. There are 150 suites and 50 standard rooms but one pool that only holds 76 people. The hot tub was a frappe of bacteria. Our room was so small we had to keep our luggage in the bathroom. When we complained about the room size we were told that a glitch occurred and we were put in the wrong room. This took two days to straighten out. Parking is $25 a night and there is only one dining option with no coffee shop or deli. There are no ice or vending machines. If you are in a standard room you need to call room service for ice. The staff is unwilling to help. We had to tip $20 to get an umbrella and chairs on the beach. We had been to Miami before and loved it. This hotel was the most disappointing place I have ever stayed. My advice is to stay elsewhere.

Bad service and lousy pool
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/2/07
After a four night stay over Memorial Day weekend, we have to agree about the lack of service and space in this hotel. The pool is too tiny and crowded, and to get to the beach you have to cross the parking driveway in the basement - not very fun! We got the feeling from just about all staff people that they didn't want to be at work. It was interesting that we got a call in our suite on the second evening from a man who said he was doing a guest telephone survey on behalf of the general manager. He wanted to know if we had experienced any bad service problems in the hotel since we had checked in, and if so, did we remember the person's name. Apparantly, there are enough problems at this hotel to warrant phone surveys to snuff out bad employees? We also had a problem of the evening turn-down lady waking the kids up at 10:00 at night. She apologized profusely, but then came back the same time the next night. The decor here is nice - suites are great - but there are SO many less cramped feeling and better places to stay on the beach in Miami.

OVERRATED
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/20/06
We came for our 25 year aniversity, Completed screwed up the room, two hour late to allow us to check in. No flowers in room, like asked $200. Mini bar is just beer and a few other things in fridge. Beach area is so pack ever day at least one screaming match would start over chairs. Nothing around the area. Next time will stay at Trump's same price twice the room. Also NO live music on the beach Never heard of this before.
