Spa was terrible
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/29/09
Very expensive, while I was there construction had a jack hammer going most of the time. I went to have a full set of neails and my first pedicure two days before my wedding. Mistake, she cut my toe which made my toe very tender in the shoes I wore. Two fingers were also cut, while the nails starting chipping within days. Worst nails I have ever had

do not go to the spa!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/08/08
The spa is very unorganized when it comes to scheduling appointments. What we thought was a GREAT deal turned out to be a complete mess. When calling the manager at the spa to rectify the situation she was not accomodating to say the least. The package includes the room, breakfast and two spa choices. So I booked a massage for my husband and I and when we got there they had scheduled a massage and facial. Much to mine and my husbands surprise we questioned it because we NEVER do facials!! So both therapists checked there books and said yes that is what you had scheduled. Again, they must have confused us with another couple because we dont ever do facials just massages.I asked if that was included in our package totalling $471.00 when checking out the front desk and said yes and they will adjust the bill accordingly it is all included in your package. My husband and I thought that was a great deal $50.00 for each service. Well when we got our credit card statement much to our surprise it wasnt adjusted and it was actually $100.00 for each service. When calling the manager to tell her what had happened she said when they call to confirm your appointments they will tell you what services you are having as well as the time. That could not be further from the truth and unfortutely it is our word against theirs. I had to call to confirm my own appointment and had to leave a message. They then called back and DID NOT verify what services were being rendered just the time. Someone is apparentley dropping the ball on their end and the manager has stood behind her employees.Needless to say we were stuck with the bill and all managers were not helpful. Also, the rooms were not very cleand for a new hotel. Would NOT reccommend the spa or this resort.

This is a beautiful property. Beauty here does not transfer to a great rating from me. I have stayed here before and was not impressed. The property was new and i let it slide. I stayed there this weekend and the property is 5 yeaars old and it really has not gotten any better. Watch for hidden charges. I heard several people suprised at checkout that they were charged $20 extra bucks for valet parking. Not expected at a Golf resort when you are already paying $185. The valet service is very aggressive and demand your keys upon arrival. No mention is ever made at the front or at check in of a charge for parking your car. I had been there so i knew. The valet lot is directly in front of the property and consumes all parking in a reasonable distance from the front. Service at the bar JT'S is slow at best. The staff will tolerate you if you don't bother them while they are visiting with friends. The Clubhouse resturant has a very nice Hostess ,probably the most courtious on the premisis, but the service really was slow and the food only warm when it arrived. The signature resturant ,Brocks is very overpriced and once again the staff has an attitude that they are doing you a favor serving you and you need to shut up and appreciate their effort. It was ,or so it seemed, a great effort to get the meal right. Our order dissappeared i suppose. We were served the first course that i guess someone else had ordered. By the time it was straightmed out we didn't have three courses we had one big mess served like a buffett, No one apologized they actually seemed to think it was amusing. for a $180 meal for 2 i was really not amused. When i checked out this morning via the onscreen checkout there was an option for an e-mail receipt, i selected this option filled in all the blanks went thru the process only to find out at the end that this service was not available. And one more thing there are chimes at the lodge telling the time on the hour.... They are an hour slow... SO IT GOES

Very happy, hope to return
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/09/07
Although it rained the whole time during our visit, we still found things to do. We both throughly enjoyed the spa, it was first class treatment all the way. The ground were beautiful and the staff was great. Brock's was to die for. If you ever go there you must try there grilled salmon it was fantastic. Many thanks, Rishton, La.

Let's Make Plans Now!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/23/07
There is really nothing that we dislike about Ross Bridge. My husband love the golfing and I love the spa. At first it was the perfect get-a-away for peace and quiet but now it is not as quite because of all the new community developments. That is the only thing that is not so perfect. It is beginning to be a bit congested getting to the hotel. Other than that, it will always be a close to home get-away trip for the two of us.

Super Weekend at Ross Bridge
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/13/07
The hotel is very upscale. We enjoyed Brocks resturant. The spa experience was excellent. We participated in the water aerobics class offered on SAT. It was great. Our room was more than adequate and the service by the staff was very good.

Excellent
By D, 09/09/06
I stayed at the resort for a business trip so there was not much time to enjoy all that this resort has to offer. But I did see some very young children in the pool and they were having the time of their lives. If it is anything like the rooms....I cannot wait to go back. I hated to leave. The landscaping was beautiful and it is so quiet and peaceful here and away from everything but no so far that you cannot jump in your vehicle and get there within 10 minutes. I hope that never changes. The rooms are clean and so beautiful. I do believe it is the best nights sleep I've ever had in a hotel. There is no other word to describe this place and the people who work there than Excellent.

great resort and great golf
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/01/06
we booked the resort through rtj golf trail. its an awesome hotel and a world class golf course. the rooms are large with a balcony and the bathrooms are the best. the hotel has two restaurants and three bars. the lobby bar is more formal but the clubhouse bar and grill is really cool place to be at night after a round of golf. the food is good and the beer is cold, also alot of flat screen tvs to watch. the men playing bag pipes at dusk is a nice touch too. i highly recommend it.
