EXCELLENT
By BelleB, 8/5/08
WoW!!!!!! This place is so great. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and friendly. We stayed in a 2 bedroom for one week, we are a family of 6 and we had plenty of space, the kids were able to move around without getting into each others space. We saved soooo much money, because we were able to cook, the kitchen has pots and pans. It was like moving into a completly furnished apartment. The room even had a washer and dryer. Another great thing was the security. You need a room key to access the elevator. Made us feel safe, because not just anybody can go up. The pool is open until 11 P.M. wich is wonderful beause the kids were able to go swimming without getting any sun burn. Everyday the lobby has diffrernt activities for the kids. I can go on and on about how great this place is. We even bought into it.

We loved this place!
By donotuse, 2/3/07
We just got back from a wonderful stay at the Marriott Grand Chateau. The location is absolutely fantastic! We were only a few steps away from the Desert Passage,(shopping center inside the Aladdin hotel) and the strip. Besides the shops you would find in a typical mall, there are several nice restaurants. I highly recommend trying Max's Grill (good food and atmosphere at an incredibly low price) and Cheeseburger Vegas. Although Cheeseburger Vegas was not inexpensive, it was fun and worth the price. Now, back to the Chateau... We were notified the hotel would be under heavy construction during our stay. However, we were pleasantly surprised that this was never an issue for us. We could hear the construction at times, but it was never very loud or bothersome. We stayed in a 1 bedroom king which had a kitchen with granite countertops, dining room, living room (with a large plasma tv!) and a separate bedroom with a king bed. The bed and pillows were so comfortable we slept great. We never once said that we couldn't wait to get back to our own bed! I stayed at the Luxor during my last trip to Vegas and although it was nice, I preferred the Chateau. I will definitely look for a Marriott Vacation Club Resort the next time I am planning a trip. (I am not a Vacation Club Owner, but I am really impressed by their properties.)

The Chateau is Grand
By Stormie, 12/26/06
This place is absolutely fabulous. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. We received a very nice welcome packet. The lovely French inspired dcor was eye catching, romantic and beautiful. They also have a shop that is open 24 hours a day. The prices are reasonable (Las Vegas) prices. Our suite was larger then expected. The two-headed shower and gigantic spa tub were nice upgrades. The flat panel TV was the largest I have ever seen. The beds were ultra soft. The kitchen was full sized and top of the line. They also have free wireless connection in the suites. They also have ok roof-top pool and spa. I wish the pool was a little deeper. The sky-bar is pretty cool. It was closed most of the time we were there because it was Decemeber and cold. They warn about construction noises (they are building another tower). I must admit I was able to hear the construction but it wasn't extremely loud. It is less than a five-minute walk to reach the strip. The whole experience was very nice. I would recommend staying here.

A Very Enjoyable Place to Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/11/06
The Chateau is a typical top quality Marriott property. We stayed in a two bedroom suite, the master bedroom had a king size bed, two person tub and a two person shower. The kitchen has granite counter tops, built in washer and dryer and full size fridge and stove. The concern of construction noise was not an issue as we were on the opposite side to the new construction, however the rooms were very quiet, we knew other people were on our floor but could never hear them. The Aladdin is approximately 200 feet from the front entrance, the strip perhaps 600 feet away. One note, the new Sun City Casino / hotel is being built on the strip right at Harmon Ave, when this facilty is finished the Chateau's location will be an even better deal. There is a hourly shuttle service that runs to the Fashion Show mall which is across from the Wynn Casino. All in all I would definitely return,it is quieter than a big casino which allows you to unwind and relax.

Vacation Club for Marriott
By Tony, 3/6/06
My wife and I stayed at the Grand Chateau as part of a deal to see if we'd like to buy into Marriott's vacation club. So it's hard to compare to a standard hotel in regards to service as the place was not full of people thus staff was available at all times. Facility was outstanding. There is construction going on as they have only built 1 of 4 wings but the lobby, rooms and common areas were emaculate. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and the Valet Parking staff was right on top of your needs. They allowed you to call down early so your car would be waiting. We stayed in a 1 bedroom which was the standard sized hotel room. Very nice fixture, had a refridgerator, toaster, small sink and stocked with dishes. The 2 and 3 bedroom units were unbelievable with flat panel screen TVs, full kitchens and a lot of space. The 3 bedroom was like a house in regards to the kitchen, dining room, livin room and 3 bedrooms. The bathrooms where top of the line bathrooms you'd expect to see in a house. The location was great as it is 100 yards off the strip, right next to the Alladin and MGM Grand. Pool was located on the top roof and was small. Seems to be a temporary pool until additional wings are added and the 5th floor will have a larger pool. Overall a very nice place to stay in Las Vegas but being a Vacation Club resort would not be open to the public.
