Commodore Perry Inn & Business Center, Port Clinton

Our room was a standard suite and it was very dirty. For the price we paid, I did not get the room I expected. The bathroom floor was sticky, the tables in the room were spotted and dirty, the hallways were dirty, there were actually dirt piles on the carpet in the halls and our walls in our room were very filthy. The hotel had a dirty smell also and we actually went to the local grocery store and bought lysol to improve the smell of our room. My husband went down to the "continental breakfast" and found no coffee. My kids went down to get cereal, and they were out of milk. In the swimming pool room were 2 large freezers(?) which were filthy on top and there were empty cardboard boxes laying there which gave the otherwise decent room a very messy feel. On the positive note, the beds were comfortable and the staff seemed nice enough. I feel their just working at a poorly ran hotel.
