Inn at Waters Edge, Ludlow

We went to the Inn for our Honeymoon. The Inn has a nice little dock on the water and the lake is very pretty, but the best part of the Inn was the owners. Our car broke down on our second to last day while we were driving to go horseback riding. Bruce recommended a reputable mechanic and came and picked us up at the repair shop. Tina is an excellent cook. The first night I had the duck- very crispy and my husband had the lamb- perfect. My husband is a professional cook himself and he was very pleased with the lamb. They even had my favorite Italian sparkling rasberry wine. The only thing we wished we had was a two person tub, so next time we will ask for one of the rooms with a 2 person jacuzzi.

An intrusive, arrogant and rude host who talks incessantly about himself. It's also expensive for small rooms. The food is a 50-50 risk. The dinner was undercooked.

We stayed at the inn on 3 separate occassions during 3 different ski seasons(2006, 2005 & 2004) and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and the rooms are spotless. As with any quality inn, the price is high but worth every penny. The close proximity to Okemo was great! Bruce and Tina (the inkeepers) are great hosts and go out of their way to help you.
