SpringHill Suites Pittsburgh North Shore, Pittsburgh

I've been going to this Hotel ever since it opened, It"s on a great location, you can walk anywhere and a big plus if you want take out food. The Restaurant at the hotel has good food also.

Loved the hotel clean, friendly, excellent breakfast buffet. Shuttle service perfect. Great location for Steeler game. Will be back, I would go back if just for the breakfast. Pool small but good. Staff very friendly. I really can't say enough about this hotel.

Definitely recommend. Clean, roomy, trendy. Would go again, no hesitation. Clerk very helpful with directions. Breakfast awesome.

Room was spacious and spottless, Service was fantastic. They had an extensive breakfast bar in the morning. Eggs, sausage, even takeaway bags to bring snacks for later. Everyday, there was a treat in the lobby. Soup, hot cookies, even a cookie decorating bar on easter. Easy parking too! They have a large open lot right next to the hotel. I would highly reccomend this hotel to everyone!

I agree with the person who talked about the front desk staff. They were very rude. We went to check in and stood there in front of the desk and they just looked at us. Was not impressed and would not go back.

Stayed here on New Years Eve, Had good service and the location couldn't be better for activities in Pittsburgh, The room was clean & nice

the front desk staff was rude; seemed like they didnt want to be bothered checking me in or out. the noise of the cars driving by while sleeping woke us up every hour and we were on the 8th floor. ( i suggest to turn on the fan on the thermostat to drown out the noise. the only nice thing about this hotel is the location and the shuttle staff who were very nice and attentive, not crabby like the front desk.

My friend and I stayed here during this past weekend for our 15th high school reunion. It provided a central location for the events we needed to attend. We could not be more happy with our stay. The rooms were well-appointed, including a small kitchenette, living area, two queen beds made with lovely cotton sheets, down comforters (with 5 pillows each!) and a separate vanity from the bathroom, which makes it much easier to get ready with two girls sharing one bathroom! The rooms were impeccably clean, as was every part of the hotel we perused. The staff was attentive and very kind - also extremely accommodating. To avoid the $17 / day parking fee, we used one of the many lots at $5 a day for my friend's car and when we weren't using my car, it stayed on the street. (We lucked out by not having a home Steeler game this weekend!) ***We were also pleased that Classy Cab Company gladly picks people up here. They are a very reliable company with clean and comfortable cars driven by employees so they're appearance is appropriate and friendly. For anyone familiar with the South Side, you know that on certain nights of the year, it can be extremely difficult to get a cab in less than a few hours, if at all. Classy Cab will pick you up at Spring Hill Suites and if they take you somewhere, you're guaranteed a ride, should you need it.*** I've stayed in the Sheraton over by Station Square and I must say that Spring Hill Suite's rooms were much, much nicer, less expensive and the people were infinitely friendlier! SpringHill Suites also boasts one of the best continental breakfast bars I've ever seen, along with a comfortable lounge, a little food market and even a business center! I will recommend the Suites to everyone I know and can't wait to have an excuse to stay there again. Thank you!

We just got back from a spring break trip and loved the Springhill Marriott. Several very nice restaurants and taverns were within walking distance nearby and the physical plant was clean, contemporary and attractive. The complimentary breakfast was nice. This would be a perfect choice for a Pirates or Steelers game but is really quite good otherwise. The shuttle drivers were extremely friendly and able to get us to anywhere within city limits. Otherwise cab service was a bit spotty--but ask for Classy Cab and they'll make appointments to pick you up. We'll definitely go back again!

The only dislike I have is the parking price because it is located next to major sports venues you must pay for parking. Other than that it was an amazing stay. The room was spotless and every inch was clean. The check in staff were prompt and easy to work with. The whirlpol bath was a delight. All the appliances(fridge, microwave etc.) we're clean and very new in appearance. The morning complimentary breakfast(it was a Sunday )included eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, cereal, juice, coffee and all the extras. I would stay here anytime in Pittsburgh with PNC Park across the street and Heinz Field down the road it's a can't miss. If you are into walking Pittsburgh is great with trails, amazing views, and intriguing architecture. A very short bridge walk and you are into the Golden Triangle to explore.
