Stoney Creek Inn St Joseph, St Joseph

Arrived at hotel at 5pm to check in. Told that our room was not clean yet but we could get our keys. Left for 6/30pm wedding got back at 7:30 to put bags in room and freshen up for wedding reseption. Room still not clean. Stood around till 8:00 before we were aloud to go in our room. Room looked dirty still and had a musty smell. After the wedding reception we went back to the room to go to sleep the air condition was blowing warm air and the musty smell was real strong, Went to front desk to complain and was treated rudely. Told that there wasn;t a manager working and that our a/c was fine and that it was just hot out side. Room was comped but we will never stay again,

The rooms were very nice. A big flat screen TV and the bathrooms were very well appointed. The front desk was very courteous. We stayed at this property on the way out to Rapid City as well as our return trip. There are good restaurants within a block so you wouldn't have to hop in the car or motorcycle to get something good to eat! There is a small lounge if you care for some libations. The continental breakfast is standard fare but will get you going! I highly recommend the Stoney Creek Inn in St Joseph.

My Mother and I stayed here. The room was very comfortable and the feel of being here was wonderful. The hot tub is one of the largest I've seen at any of the hotels I've ever been at. The only down side is that they don't have any smoking rooms. They should at least have a smoking room inside for people to use.

The rooms were beautiful. The hotel was spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a homey log cabin feel to it. We had a problem with noisy children in the room above us and with one call to the front desk the problem was immediatly taken care of. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We ended up there by accident-we went to stay at the Ramada but the hotel was filthy,noisy, and had a dirty odor. We found the Inn and were very pleased with our stay. We have already researved a room and are staying there for our anniversary. Excellent hotel!!!

After rejecting two different smoky-smelling rooms at the Ramada near by, we found this lovely place just off the main drag. Stoney Creek was perfectly clean and comfortable. The wifi worked great. The breakfast wasn't anything special but they did have biscuits & gravy. However, there's a really good coffeehouse a short walk away (Hazels?). And, my wife forgot her alarm clock, which she is rather attached to. She called the next day, they found it and saved it for her. We picked it up on the way home.

It feels like you are staying in a log cabin. The people are very nice. The hotel is clean, and there are all these special touches to the room. It is also one of the best beds, my husband and I have ever slept in.
