Country Inn Suites Amarillo, Amarillo

We spent four days here out of necessity. The room was not clean upon arrival. We called down to the desk and while the manager did apologize he said the maid would clean it more in the morning. Even the toilets hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupant. The following morning I discovered the previous guest had apparently left a pair of boxers which had fallen behind a chair..again, I called the manager and he told me the maids would be in shortly. We demanded another room, which we were given, and again, the maids apparently couldn't use the vacuum, because the floors had crumbs on them. The rooms are nice. The final straw was at check out when the manager billed the wrong card..and then refused to correct it. The bill stated he used one card when he in fact had used the other card. When I drew it to his attention, he again apologized but wouldn't make the correction. The entire stay was an aggravation from start to finish.
