It's a great hotel and very nice, but...

My hotel room was $130 per night. I stayed 13 nights. Breakfast was $11 for the "breakfast buffet." The breakfast buffet was not worth $11 dollars. The first time I ate, I had 3 scrambled eggs, two slices of bacon and a (1) glass of orange juice. That's worth about $2 if I buy the stuff in the store. The Hampton Inn (a Hilton partner and just as nice as any Hampton I've ever stayed inalmost) has the same quality of food, it's free, and the hotel rooms are cheaper. I couldn't believe that I had to pay $11 for scrambled eggs, two pieces of bacon and a glass of orange juice. I didn't eat breakfast at your hotel again until the last day I was there. Then I made it worth my $11, but was met with why-are-you-ordering-so-much looks. I was very dissatisfied with the quality of the food, the cost and the people that made the food.
I had dinner one night at the hotel, and it was just as unsatisfactory as the breakfast was. The lady that served me and the cook that made it were nice people, but the food was not. I had a club sandwich that was made with dried out meat. The lettuce had clearly been out all day, and the french fries tasted like they were made the day before. The price of the food was ok, but I was charged $2 to have the lady bring the food a whole 20 ft to my table. NOT COOL. I didn't find out that that's what the extra charge was for until I asked.
Overall, I was VERY pleased with the hotel and its amenities because it's a great hotel. All Hilton hotels are very warm and friendly, but the quality, quantity and price of the food was horrible. I don't think I would recommend this Hilton to other people based on the food alone. As I said earlier, Hampton hotels are just as nice (most of the time) and they offer free breakfast. The quality of the food is the same as this Hamptons was, but the price is better.
