I went last weekend for a weekend getaway with the gals & the spa was terrible. I treat myself to a massage a few times a year and Hibiscus Spa was the worst I have ever had. For example, my massage did not start on time (staff was at least 20 minutes late) & the woman who did my manicure/pedicure stood at the counter while I checked out determining gratuity. Best of all, when I checked in I learned that my services had been pre-paid and the staff actually said to me that all I needed to take care of was gratuity--I thought gratuity was earned!!! In summary, if you are accustomed to going to the spa on a regular basis, this spa will be a disappointment. The pool also left something to be desired. It did not provide a relaxing and refreshing experience. Regarding the rest of the hotel, the room exceeded expectations. If you are looking for a place to stay over a weekend where you can relax and become reinvorgated for the workweek ahead, this is not the place.

Wonderful hotel!
By Mike, 08/10/08
This is a fantastic hotel for the price we paid. The rooms were very clean and spacious, the beds were very comfortable the Sunday breakfast was outstanding, we had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room. The staff was very attentive and helpful when we had a problem with the air conditioner. The maintenance staff had gone home for the night and the lady behind the front desk was able to walk me through getting our A/C unit in our room to work again, first class customer service in my book! If you are in the La Quinta area, this is the place to stay at!

Great Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/28/08
The hotel is very nice with a great complimentary breakfeast buffet in the morning. We have stayed in both the casitas and rooms and both were very accomadating and clean. The Old Town are is right across the street, you can walk to the shops and restaurants. We went to a great seafood restaurant there,The Crabpot and it was reasonably priced and the food was fantastic. I highly rerccommend this hotel and the area.

Great weekend getaway!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/18/07
Very comfortable accomadations. The complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent. The nightly managers reception was appreciated as well. Perfect place for a quick recharge. My wife and I will definitely come back for a return stay again. For the price it is one of the nicer hotels we have stayed at.

Beautiful and clean
By SandiS, 04/24/07
Loved the room. We were upgraded at no additional charge to a "casita." It had one bedroom and a fully stocked kitchen (meaning silver, dishes, glasses, coffee, tea, etc.) Also has free Happy Hour and free breakfast. Will definitely go back.

great getaway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/04/07
The casitas are very nice. They are more private than being in the hotel. They are one bedrooms with a full kitchen and living room with fireplace. Washers and dryers in the units, which makes it great when you're staying with kids for a week. Having Old Town right across the street makes it real convenient to walk to the restaurants and wine bar.
