A So-So Stay for Us
We are currently bluegreen owners, and the Fountains disappointed us a bit.
When we first arrived at our room, there was a woman in our room. Thinking there was some kind of mistake, the woman told us she worked for the resort and was cleaning up, but I didn't see a cleaning cart of any kind. Suspicious?
After that, things were okay.
By day four, things started going downhill.
My son and I were infected with some sort of rash. vIt covered our arms and backs with semi-visible spots that were itchy. When we came home, a family member of ours who works in dermatology, told us it was an allergic reactions to BED BUGS. You should be careful sleeping in those beds.
The service could have been better. It took us about 20 minutes to check in. On the first day concierge was very friendly, but the next day they seemed like they could care less. The attendants at the bar were very slow service. It took me 25 minutes to get a pre-packaged thing of nachos and ice cream.
My family absolutely loved the pools! There is one pool behind the lobby, that goes from indoor to outdoor. However, our favorite was the Wakoola Springs pool. It was spacious and had a water playgroun for the little ones, and water slides for my kids.
Our room was very clean, except for the fact that we saw some ants crawling around our room. Also, the first time I showered I encountered a dirty towel in the clean towels.
Overall, our experience was okay, and just that. We're planning on selling our timeshare because it did not live up to expectations.
If you want better service and cleaner rooms, stay at Gaylord Palms down the street.
