Not the Best Experience We've Ever Had

We were there for a family wedding. Upon check-in, we received the gift bag that the bride and groom had left for guests staying at the hotel. However, my mother didn't received hers until I inquired about it and it was sitting on the floor in plain sight behind the check-in desk. The room was nice and clean. However, at 2:00 a.m. we were awakened by a group of 20ish women who were part of a bridal party not associated with our wedding. They were in the hall and in the room next to ours screaming, hollering, yahooing as loud as they could. It sounded like they were jumping on the bed and terribly drunk. My husband called the desk twice and on the third time finally reached a clerk. He didn't know exactly what to do he said, but came up and within a few minutes it was a little quieter. However, about 10 minutes later, they began again. My husband called the desk and threatened to call the police if they did not make those women quieten down. Again, he came up and again, it was quiet for another 10 minutes. The toned it down a little for the next hour or so, then we were awakened by two guys banging on their door and yelling for them to open it. Obviously, their friends. At 5:00 a.m., I gave up sleeping and got dressed. We went down to breakfast and then talked to the people at the front desk. We asked if the party girls were going to be there again that night and told them what happened. They never offered to switch our rooms, but did on the insistence of my husband. We were never offered any apology and when my husband said he threatened to call the police, their answer was that the clerk was new and didn't know how to handle the situation and that he should have called the police himself. We were never offered any sort of discount or meal in the restaurant or anything. Also, the elevator closest to our room ceased working and we ended up taking the stairs most of the time we were there. This was most inconvenient as we were on the 2nd floor and then the 4th floor. My mother, who is 80 years old, had a broken foot and was on the second floor and had to take the stairs as well. If this wasn't enough, when my mother and her friend checked out, the clerk who ended up being the manager of the day, had trouble preparing their bill and charging it to a charge card. My mother's friend finally told him to mail it to him as we all had a 9 hour drive home.
I would not recommend this hotel until they have better, more caring management and maintenance of their equipment.
