Holiday Inn Exp Stes Grnd Prai, Grand Prairie

This is a absolutly great hotel! All the employees were very friendly. It is a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. The rooms were very roomy,had all the conveniences to make your stay feel at home. Super comfortable beds, soft linens and pillows, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, free internet...pool and jacuzzi..they had a super great breakfast every morning. Not just rolls and fruit, they had eggs, bacon,sausage, muffins, gravy, cinnamon rolls, fruit and more. They served great dinners for free on Wed and Thur w/feel beer. The place is new and the manager even greeted us. I just can't say enough good about this hotel. It should have a much higher rating. Would stay again if in the area in a heartbeat!

I really enjoyed my stay! The room was so nice and quiet, even though my room was right next to the stairs. Also, the room was very clean and the bed's linens were so soft and comfortable. I just about melted into the bed, it felt so good. I liked it that there were lots of lights in the room. It seems like in lots of hotel rooms, there is not enough lighting. I was able to connect to the Internet using their ethernet cable just fine, no problems. The staff was nice and helpful, too. The only trouble I had at all was finding the hotel itself. I saw the Holiday Inn Express sign on the interstate, but when I exited, it was not clear which way to turn once I got to the light. (Turn right.)

This hotel is still fairly new and very clean. The staff was most courteous and helpful with any request made. Complimentary breakfast also a plus. Planning another stay as I speak. View out the back side needs improving.

My stay at the Holiday inn Express was the best ive had. The staff was knew what was going on and the manager was reachable and personally greated me. The breakfast is emaculate and best of all they bake fresh cookies in the afternoon. It will be hard another hotel to top the experience I had here.

This the second time I stayed at the the hotel, and I can not believe that they have made the place even better. Bathrobe and Ipod player in the rooms - great. TV in the elevator, wow is this a limited service hotel. The breakfast keeps getting better, they added a few new hot items. The social hour was great - drinks, food, great host and "Karoake". Next time I will be brave and sing. Keep up the great work. Compliments to Peter, the best Hotel GM.

These people have no idea what is going on! We had a reserved a room a MONTH in advance and when we got there there credit card machine didn't work. So we went to eat and came back and in that time they gave one of our rooms AWAY! There was 7 of us and they wanted us to all sleep in the SAME ROOM! Then they asked us to leave because thay had screwed up! Also while we were there they gave a man's room away because he took his luggage out of it during they day, so when he returned to his room there was a family there!

We had scheduled 2 rooms for over 1 month. The day we got to the hotel, the credit card computer was down. Jay was having trouble with other guests so we told him we would go eat and then return. We were gone 1 hour, when we returned they had given one of our rooms away. They advised that they would comp us the room, but wanted all 7 women to sleep in 1 room, and then they would get us another the next day. We talked to the general mgr, who was rude, and decided that he did not care that they gave our room away and that he did not care if we stayed at his hotel. This has left a very bad taste in our mouths, and will not be recommending this to anyone. It would have been different if it was our fault. But they admitted fault and did not was to do anything to make good on the problem.

The hotel is new and nice looking... but the service is awful. The guy working the front desk was completely incompetent. We watched as he had double-booked two guests in the same room. A guy actually walked in on a family that was checked into his room, even though he had the room for 3 nights. We left to allow the manager to straighten out his mess and when we got back, he had given away one of our rooms, even though they were being held by a credit card (for over a month). He told us that all 7 adults could stay in one room! He couldn't understand why that was a problem and he never explained to us why he gave our room away. We went one more exit west and stayed at another hotel. It wasn't as new, but the service more than made up for that.

The service was very poor. They could not get their credit card machine to work. They double booked two families while I was waiting, and when we left for dinner to let them figure out what to do about their machine, they gave one of our rooms away.
