What a surprise!

This is a very new and stylishly designed hotel. It also is quite small with only eight rooms on each floor, which adds to its charm, so there should be around 80 rooms altogether.
Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and well-motivated. We received complimentary free-choice drinks and fruit (though I dont think this is a regular: the Hotel had opened recently and there didnt seem to be too many guests that night).
There are a couple of computers with DSL-access in the lobby that you can use free of charge, a spa (which unfortunately is closed on sundays) and an outside pool (which, of course, was closed in March).
The rooms are probably 20 square metres in size(~240 square feet) plus a very nice bathroom featuring expensive fittings, slate tiles and a fully-glazed shower - with an extra rain shower - connecting the bathroom and the room (remember when considering to share a room (-:). Water pressure is very good. The room itself has a modern and calm design with dark wood panneling, contrasting white walls and lampshades and huge windows. There is a large desk, a flat screen TV (impressive, but not a very expensive model, limited choice of programs) and a chaiselongue in front of the window. The bed is a king size and very comfortable. No noises kept us from sleeping.
The cleanliness not only of our room, but also of lobby, restaurant, etc. was impeccable!
Breakfast in the hotels bright and curved restaurant could have been a little better (choice, service (there was only us and another couple and the waitress wasnt around a lot)) but was still good.
Downside: You have an unobstructed but quite ugly view out of street-side rooms - the area is not very beautiful. Keep in mind though: the other more expensive hotels in Bari are in this area, too!
Conclusion: This is a very nice and modern, solid **** design hotel with excellent cleanliness, exciting rooms and friendly staff. I will definitely return here if I return to Bari, without looking for other options!
