Homestay Inn Branson, Branson

I originally booked the room as a Choice Hotel property. They subsequently sent me an e-mail that my confirmation was cancelled: the place was no longer an affiliated hotel and that I should book another room at one of their Choice Hotels. Sure glad I re-booked with this non-affilated property: three days for the price of two; a clean and comfortable room; and management shows you how to make your own waffles (no instruction necessary for the beverages, toast, bagels, pasteries, or cereals). And, the place is situated on the Red Route.

Made reservations for the last of May, on the first day they opened for the 2007 season. Asked for a particular room, which I was told was available, but when we arrived, we were told "we don't hold rooms for anyone" and "those rooms are being remodeled and will be more expensive"! On top of that there were roofers and other workmen on the job at 7:00AM each of the 6 days we were there. Woke us up early almost every morning. If I had known that the place was being remodeled, I sure wouldn't have booked a room there. Won't go back again! Too many nicer places to stay, and they WILL reserve the room you ask for, NOT put you where THEY want you to be!
