Palais De La Mediterranee, Nice

We stayed at this hotel for our 37th wedding anniversary and loved every minute, in fact can't wait to go back!! We considered having a room with sea view, but in hindsight we were glad we didn't as the main road passes directly in front of the hotel and if you are light sleepers (as we are) then it would have been noisy as we like to leave patio doors open at night. We had a room at the back which looked onto other private homes and distant mountains which was lovely, we could sleep with windows wide open, and were not disturbed at all until the very last night when an English couple decided to have a party on their patio until 2:30am !! but the noise was easily shut out by closing the doors to the patio and putting the electronic blinds down, then turning on the air conditioning in the room. The room was spotless, and they did not disturb you at all, everyone was courteous and very helpful. The only downside was, drinks were very expensive, e.g. two tea's were 13euro's, but apart from that excellent.

having spent the last six years visitung this wonderful hotel is testament enough. The staff are superb, rooms especially good and the food and service is superior. The terrace at breakfast and lunch time is fabulous with the open air roof and watching the hustle and bustle down below. Try it you will not be disappointed! Cannot wait till my next visit in two weeksw time. Au revoir et A bientot nice.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel as it was located in pleasent suroundings and was very calm and peaceful. The service here was OK but very polite. What lovely rooms, spacious and clean. The gymnasium was great and kept me feeling refreshed and awake all through my stay as did the sauna and big, cooling pool.

The care and attention of the staff have brought us back two or thre times a year for the past 4 years.On our anniversary or my wife or my birthday out of all the countries we could go to and all the hotels we could choose we return to this hotel. It is an indulgence and every one should have them even occasionally. ken Murray

We booked through Five Star Alliance (we highly recommended doing the same)and got upgraded to a sea view room. The hotel exceeded all of our expectations in every way. Service, location and facility were all exceptional. Do yourself a favor and determine that you won't stay anywhere else!

The one thing i disliked was it was qwuite far away from the beach and the nightlife which surrounds the city but it was still great

We have travelled frequently to France and have stayed in George V, Chateau Chevre d'or and in many excellent hotel. However, this was a wonderful experince. Location perfect, Service exceptional and the room and bahroom extremely clean. The best was the bed, best bed we ever slept in on a vacation. View of the beach, just wonderful. We have found a new home on the French Riviera.

We stay in Nice often for business. Our criteria for making a decision on which hotel we stay at is based on location, quality of service and the competence of the staff. The Hotel Palais De La Mediterranee exceeds our expectations in each category. I am sure that you will not be disappointed and will agree that the value far outweighs the cost.
