Down in the Dumps!!!
We made room arrangements through a friend of the owner and were given an amazing rate of $39.95 per night for two nights, Friday and Saturday. I really thought we got a good rate and the pictures of the Inn were ok. When we arrived they didn't know who we were or what room we were in. It took 2 hrs for the Counter Clerk to figure everything out, and he wasn't friendly about it. The Hotel felt more like a Half Way House. Clothes hanging over balconies, dirty, loud, peoples doors open, with families of six or more people, stinky, smokey, an occassional illegal drug smell, old laminated particle board furniture from the 80's, cheep polyester linens, tile coming off in shower, really bad breakfast, rock hard beds, old small tube tv with a not so clear picture, panel fell off a/c unit, very loud with highway 40 yards away. The only perk was the bar nextdoor made really good Bloody Marys. You will need one after staying in this Shack. Good Luck!!! I would reccommend paying a little more for a safe good nights sleep.
