Negatives: Pricey for this market and level, but SEC track meet was going on. Desk staff not rude, but sit at front desk like zombies. (On the other hand, maids were very friendly.) Breakfast was extensive, but decidely mediocre, considering what other similar hotels offer. Rooms can be noisy. Normal conversations in the hallway seem to get amplified, along with door slams. Also very close to extremely busy College St. Window curtains too short. No way to completely block out light. Positives: Very clean, comfortable and roomy. Best showerhead I've used outside of Las Vegas. OK, but not highly recommended.

This place needs to shut down. I would not stay here again even for free. Musty, dirty. brown water, stained pillows, sagging beds, short shower, and no privacy.
 
 
 
 
 
Nice Stay

This is a nice hotel that offers a hot breakfast. The only bad thing was it was a little pricey, $100 for one night. We stayed here June 9 on our way to Williamsburg. Clean, friendly, computer access and a business center, good breakfast, near the hwy (mile down the rd). I would stay again.

Horrible Experience, stay away from here!

Our room was FILTHY to include beds that were not made, trash in the drawers, hair on the sheets and cigarette butts and ashes in the ashtray of a non-smoking room. My family and I will NEVER stay here again. I demanded to move to another room and guess what...it was dirty also with an unmade bed to greet us. The staff told us another customer didn't like the room because of the traffic noise due to facing College Street and they were told no one laid on the beds!! They also tried to charge me for the room even though I had a confirmation printout to show I was using a Rewards Night at no cost. We blew 10,000 points for nothing.
