Awesome Just Awesome

Our Family loved the inn! Jim, Kayla and T-Bone were so generous to all of us! The room was perfect and the breakfast was great! It's not easy to please four children, but my kids loved it there!!

Clean and comfortable and great location!
By Mrs. S., 8/1/07
Kayla and Jim, the innkeepers, keep this gem very well-maintained and clean. Our room was well appointed, large, quiet, and clean. The bed was comfortable too. Continental breakfast is provided between 8 and 10 and coffee is brewing at 6:30 a.m. The resident Jack Russell mix T-bone is very well behaved, stays in his appointed areas and does not bark. Window unit air conditioning is available in each room for those with allergies or for when the days are a little warm. The walk to the Mackinac Island Arnold ferry is only one block. Several shops and restaurants are also within walking distance. The rooms also have cable television with many, many stations. The hotel lobby and staircase are charming and will take you back in time. I loved looking at the old hotel operator telephone system in the lobby. Don't pass this one by. We stayed in three other b and b's during our Michegan vacation in Traverse City, Charlevoix, and Muskegon, all with much higher price tags. Boardwalk Inn was by far the best value and cleanest place we stayed. Thank you, Kayla and Jim :-)
