Five star service
By ejs, 4/1/08
What a bargain for such a nice place! We stayed here in order to be close to a wedding, close to the airport, and close to a subway for access into Manhattan. This hotel fulfilled all three. The rooms were refurbished and very clean. There was free internet access, and when we asked if we could print our boarding passes, the manager brought out a printer and connected it for us. When we were ready to leave, the desk attendant called a car service for us that was prompt and reasonably priced. The area is very Asian: most of the many surrounding restaurants and shops were Asian and many of the hotel guests were Asian. We are not, but we felt totally comfortable and well-treated.

Would definelty return
By Brian, 8/30/06
I needed a room for my daughter and I to attend the US Open at Flushing Meadows. After looking for days on Manhattan (assuming the area hotels would be booked) I tried a search for a local hotel using AAA. The reviews for most Manhattan hotels were poor. The rates here were relatively reasonable (all NY hotels are overpriced). The hotel is locate in a Chinese section and is owned or operated by Chinese. The lobby is small but very clean. Desk service was excellent. They upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi (nice touch but not important to me). Room size was as expected (two beds) and the bathroom was clean and everything worked. This hotel is located within two blocks of the #7 train and we got to the Open within minutes. The ride to Manhattan was 30 minutes. Parking is across the street in a lot not owned by the hotel. Parking was $10/day and is discounted from $15/day. Parking runs to 50 minutes after checkkout time, or 11:50. My only negative was the TV was antenna vs cable and poor at that, and there were styrofoam cups. I like glassware. I felt safe returning to the hotel at 11:00pm with my 16 yo daughter. There is a PC with free internet access in the lobby (10 min max). All in all an excellent facility for the price.

Prescott Resort is a Run Down Motel 6
By Real World, 11/30/05
Things were bad from the start. I had a reservation for 2 nights, they only had me down for one night. (We found another hotel for the second night.) Nice lobby, old, worn out carpeting in hallways, older stinky rooms. I guess the drunk gamblers don't mind. I would say that $59.95 would be a good rate for this hotel. Breakfast was terrible. One waitperson for every 3 tables, 1/2 empty, slow service. We ordered 3 things and they got all 3 wrong. Service was bad, nobody knew their stations. Worst of all, nobody cared. I told the waitress, all she could say was "We are getting ready for the brunch, we're really busy." Which explains why we had to eat in a cheesy meeting room, not in the restaurant. Not oops, not sorry. This was after we arrived at 9 AM to find the hostess saying they close at 9 and are not serving breakfast anymore. I reminded her she was standing next to a sign that stated they are open for breakfast until 9:30. Reluctantly, she let us in. Two groups behind us left to eat a a Denny's down the street because of her poor attitude to the customers. I commented to the desk manager upon checkout and all he could say was "Well, have a nice day anyway." I will never stay at this crappy hotel again, and I doubt I will use your travel service again either. My reservation was not for the hotel in New York as you stated above. You should know what you are selling. Wake up!

very good
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/23/04
We just stayed for 6 nights at Best western Queens Court Hotel and we are very glad we have booked it.
Friendly, efficient staff; clean, spacious rooms, situated in the heart of Chinatown in Flushing, at short walking distance from subway nr 7 station at Main Street to Manhattan Grand Central and from the Long Island Rail Road to Penn Station (ride takes only 17 minutes).
Very reasonable prices too. Internet access for free!
