Clean room, comfy beds for family of 6
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/2/11
Travelling with our four kids we needed queen beds and space for a couple on the floor just for a quick overnight stay during our journey from fla back to Midwest. Located off highway 24 past Chattanooga near Lookout Mountain and Liftonia, heading north, if you pass this exit you don't have opportunity to stop for several miles as you go through the mountains. Room was spacious, carpet new and clean, beds very comfy, free bfast as expected - toast, bagels, fresh fruit, Danishes, muffins, cereal, good coffee. Free wifi. Nice front desk staff. $84 with AAA discount. Great for our needs.

Wonderful Service
By Had enough, 5/27/10
We stayed two & a half days. Staff very friendly & helpful. Loved the full - free breakfast every morning. Room very quiet, comfortable. Close to local attractions and shopping. We are in our early 60's so the price was affordable for us. would stay here again.

Not bad, Not great
By Chelsey, 3/23/10
It's one of the older Hampton Inns, it looks like they're not keeping up-to-date with the Hampton standards. My room was clean, but everything about this hotel was out-dated. Front desk was friendly at arrival. Parking lot is very odd- the building is situated of the side of a mountain so the parking lot dips and curves in places. It was conveniently located next to a gas station and some restaurants. My rating here is purely informative, not trying to talk badly about the place at all.

I will not go back
By harbor_rd, 3/29/09
I stayed at this hotel 3/27 for one night. The hotel was very clean and the king size bed was very comfortable, however I will not stay there again. The rooms were much smaller than appeared in picture. They looked old, with old furniture. It is not a $110 (after Tax) per night room. The internet was like using dial up for the first couple hours after that it did speed up a little. My over all experience was ( just o.k) for one night. I would not have stayed a second night because the price was too high for that type of room. I am surprised Hampton INN doesn't remove there name from the property.

Excellent!
By Melissa, 5/21/08
I am in the military and I was able to choose this hotel for my working trip to Chattanooga. I was treated excellent. The room was very clean and the staff were polite. My room had a stopped up toilet when I first arrived. I told the staff at the desk and it was fixed and cleaned in no time. The bed was super and I am going back later this year with my family to see the sights. This hotel is in the best location for Ruby Falls and down town Chattanooga(no traffic).

Just Avg.
By Tam, 9/4/07
We just got back from our trip. This hotel is very clean, and the beds were really good...BUT..The staff was not very friendly. The breakfast wasn't good at all. As a matter of fact, the 1st morning we were there, it was about 9 am when we went in the breakfast room. They were out of gravy, bisquits, egss. When we asked if they were going to put some more out, they said no, bause they will shut the breakfast bar down in about an hour, and they were not going to put anymore back out! OK..why didn't they say the bar closed at 9 am instead of 10 then? There were about 30 people in there wanting some food. Then the next morning they were out of the same thing..PLUS out of coffee! The staff was not friendly. The pool was closed the day we were leaving so we weren't able to do in the pool. It wasn't a very good stay. I travel a good bit, I am out of town about 10-15 days a month, and this hotel is not worth the money we paid to stay there. There is a sleezy motel right behind this hotel and when you go to the pool area all you can see is that place, and I didn't feel safe there at all. We won't go back

Great Hotel, Excellent Front Desk Staff
By Nashville, TN, 7/13/07
This hotel was in a great location and very, very clean! The front desk clerk went out of his way to make us welcome. He recommended a restaurant to us and even gave us a coupon for a free appetizer. Parking can be a bit of a hassle if you check in late. Otherwise, I had a great experience. Typical continental breakfast so try not to get too hungry. You will get a clean room, comfy bed and lots of cable channels...what more could you ask for!

Fantastic place
By SarahP, 6/26/06
My boyfriend and I stayed here after 3 nights of camping at Bonnaroo. We were really tired and wary of hotels from our previous Chattanooga hotel experience a few days before. However we were delighted by this hotel and all the nice touches they have. The staff was so nice and the room was great. We would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay!
By Kellie, 5/16/06
The hotel was very clean. When we checked in our room had been smoked in and the clerk immediately gave us a new room with no problems. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in! Breakfast was decent. Free HS internet in the room! The location is excellent and easy to get to. One of best overall hotel stays we have had.

would stay here again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/7/06
We booked this Hampton Inn thinking it was the downtown one. We were pleasantly surprised though to find it much more convenient to the attractions we wanted to see. The area was very quiet. It is at the base of Lookout Mountain so Ruby Falls, Rock City etc. were only 15 minutes away. Downtown was only about 15 mins. also. The room was spotless. I usually notice things like cobwebs in the corner, hair on the bathroom floor etc, but it was very clean. The breakfast selection was very good with both hot items like eggs, sausage & gravy, toast etc. and cold items like fruit and cereal. We would cartainly stay here again. I would likely look for a Hampton Inn any other places we go as well.
