Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By Hate, 08/14/08
this hotel is really not worth the money i reserved online and it gave me one rate and when i checked out it gave me another. too pricey for me. the breakfast was terrible. the place was dirty i didnt get my room cleaned until late at night and the worst thing is the housekeeper forgot to put toilet paper in my bathroom. how do you forget to put toilet paper in someone's room?? overall this was a bad experience. my son went in the pool and it was so strong with chlorine we had to leave because our eyes were burining so bad. so one needs to learn to measure the right amount because this was just WAY TOO MUCH CHLORINE COME ON YOU DONT NEED THAT MUCH!!!! I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYBODY! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE AND I AGREE WITH OTHERS THIS ELEVATOR SOUNDS LIKE THEY NEED TO GET IT FIXED COME ON ALL THE MONEY YOU GET FOR PEOPLE STAYING THERE AND RIPPING THEM OFF THEY CANT INVEST IN SOMEONE TO REPAIR THIS BROKEN DOWN THING. PLEASE PEOPLE STAY ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!!!

Nice Place
By Tourist, 06/21/08
My family and I stayed here for four nights. The room was clean, the staff friendly, and the location was convenient to the base and historic Newport. The breakfast was adequate but my son was disappointed that after the first morning there were no more cinnamon rolls Holiday Inn Express advertises so much. I was disappointed in the lack of fruit after the first morning. However there were other choices and compared to many free with room breakfasts this one was good. Our room was clean but the first day the staff didn't change out the towels we left in the tub, simply gave us clean ones without taking the dirty away. Overall the stay was a good one and I would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Newport/Middleton.

Terrible

I would never stay at this hotel again. Cheap, dirty and pricy. You can hear the room upstairs and the cars going by xuz the hotel is located right by the main road.

Very nice hotel, great service and close to many restaraunts and Newport scene. Has a Chilis in front which is convenient, and a DD is also nearby but the free breakfast is also a bonus!!!!

Nice, clean, new hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/20/05
Hotel was great, not too far from downtown Newport. Great indoor pool and hot tub. Quiet and very clean. Easy to get into and out of with traffic light on Route 114. Directions on web not great. Didn't tell you that hotel was on Route 114, only stated it was on 138 and got lost trying to find it.

Bad experience!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/19/05
The staff were very nice here, but the hotel is horrible. Cheaply made hotel should not charge so much! The pool was green, the breakfast was dry, and the elevator felt like it was going to fall. I will never stay here again. Also, They own the Inn at Newport Beach, and try to get you to stay there for twice as much money, but dont fall for it. Its is a dump, even worse than this hotel. I would recommend the hotels closer to town.
