Hotel Park City, Park City

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. It just keeps getting better. The rooms are deluxe and luxurious. Definitely a scenic and romantic location. For a mountain get away, it is prime. I can't say enough about the hotel, the rooms, the service and the stay. We have stayed in both the studio suites and the cottage suites and they are both extremely nice. I love the decor and the cozy, yet spacious feel to them. Flat screen LG TVs were popular with the hubby. Our cottage suite was set between two large ponds...with ducks and a sun-bathing woodchuck. The restaurant was fabulous...Ruth's Chris Steak House offered delicious cuisine. We took advantage of their "everything included" fitness center--they have all the cardio machines, circuit machine and free weights...it is a great place to burn off all the delicious food you enjoy during your vacation! Though a bit pricey for the average person, it is definitely a treat and well worth it. A great place for your next romantic or family get away.

Let me preface with we were there shortly after the hotel opened for the season. The heat did not work and was not corrected for three days. Spa reservations were screwed up and the staff (with several exceptions) was absolutely clueless and very unhelpful. For $100/night it might have been acceptable but not for $1K/night. Spa was excellent if they would have gotten the reservations correct. Ruth Chris was good but of course they are everywhere. Next trip I will stay in a true ski-in ski-out location like Stein Erickson which really has exceptional service.

A truly time out of mind experience, I was there on business but it did not feel like it. A stunning setting with a superb room and splendid service. Dinner at Ruth’s Chris and a spa treatment my last night burned a fantastic memory I will never forget.

Being in the hospitality industry myself I expect great service and I love a great hotel. There is nothing better then a nice relaxing stay somewhere when it is just vacation. When it is your honeymoon it better be better then good. It has to be fantastic. Hotel Park City was far past even my experience in many other 5 star hotels around the country. You will have a great stay and you will be very comfortable. When we arrived they knew who we were and the manager on duty took us to our cabin suite himself. There is no parking in the cabin areas which is very nice because you do hear engine and there are no lights to shine in your room. The room was so well appointed and the details had all been seen too. We had fresh ice, the radio was on a soft classical station, the lights were on but dimmed for a romantic setting, the hot tub on the balcony was on and ready. There were soft robes on the bed, lots of big white fluffy bath sheets (the large size) and slippers. I was pleased to find real dishes in the kitchen, a microwave, washer and dryer along with a nice walk in closet. The three fireplaces were lit and crackling which was a nice touch. I have to say the bathroom was a treat because of the large jetted garden tub, large shower and the Bvlgari bath treatments. They smelled so lovely and I have to recommend taking a bath with the bath salt tea bag they give you. I loved the way it made my skin feel. I love Bvlgari in the first place but this scent I had never come across and it was fantastic. My husband loved it as well. Being that it was our honeymoon we got breakfast in the mornings and they were hot, well portioned and the staff that brought them to our room were so very polite. They gave us plenty of time before they called to ask if they could come and pick the dishes up. I have to say that all in all I can't wait to go back again. My husband and I will be here in the area to visit family frequently when we come to the States and I know every stay will be just as pleasant and fantastic.

Yes, this facility is nice, but, we experienced numerous problems during our stay in the Deluxe Cottage. The Jacuzzi bathtub in our room did not work and was never fixed during our 5 day stay. Upon arrival, we had no shampoo and the following day after housekeeping had been there, we still did not have shampoo. We were short on towels one day and then the following day we had no bath towels. Take note that if you stay in the cottage, there is no parking by the cottage. You have to park and then walk to your cottage. The road to the cottage is one lane, so there are times that you are blocked in when trying to load or unload your vehicle. There is a dishwasher and a washer and dryer, but no soap available for either. If you plan on doing any cooking, be aware that the stove only has 2 burners, there is no oven, there are only 3 pots (no lids), no pot holders, no dish cloths. This place charges much more than other places we have stayed at that offer more services, such as The Summit and The Westgate.

I have visited many hotels in Park City and would have to say this is one of the most favorable of them all. Though the staff seemed over burdened at the front desk we were well taken care of. Ruth's Chris is amazing and the service was great. The spa was fantastic with many services to choose from. We spend a day and received services worth every penny. Overall I would have to recommend this hotel to anybody who visits Park City in the future. Top Class!!!

Everything about this resort is wonderful. We have already booked our ski vaction and can't wait to be there when the snow is falling. Every rooms has top of the line everything. Staff is very friendly.

We have stayed in many upscale resorts and this rates favorably in many ways. The Spa was excellent and easy to get an appointment for services. We stayed in the cottage suites and the room was outstanding with a private balcony and hot tub. Also the room was spacious and both my wife and I LOVED the bed it was incredibly comfortable. The cottages, while beautiful rooms, are away from the main lodge and the parking lot. You have to walk several hundred yards to get to your car or services the hotel offers in the main lodge. Also the service is a notch below what would be desired for such a highly rated resort. It almost seems like they are a little short staffed and resting on thewir laurels. I hope that this is only because it is the off season. Don't even think about trying to get in before 4 PM when you check in, because the room won't be done. All in all Stein Erickson Lodge has better service and rooms but at a much higher price. We would stay here again and hope that the service issues and the remoteness of the cottages have been addressed.

This place is anything other than ordinary. It is wonderful!!! Beautiful location, spectacular rooms, service met our needs, professional staff, Great pool, relaxing spa... Just wonderful!!!!

I recently got married, and stayed at Hotel Park City the wedding weekend. My wife and i were nervous about the ceremony, but the staff and accommodations put our minds at ease. The spa is AMAZING! Very well appointed with great treatments. The hotel sits on the Park City Golf Course, where we held a golf tournament for the wedding party. Everything went off without a hitch, and the course was in great shape. The rooms are more like condos...Bose surround sound, leather couch, mountain lodge style bed and a bathroom that left us speechless. We ate at Sleigh Restaurant a couple times over the weekend. Very good food and romantic ambiance. Many thanks to all the staff that helped with the little touches to make our weekend that much more special. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Park City that wants a memorable experience.
