Horrbile Christmas Brunch

I went to the restaurant for the Christmas brunch. It was horrible. The restaurant was small and there was a major lack of food choices. The quality was pathectic. The food was so bad it made me sick. For $60.00 per person I would have had a better meal at Lubys.

GREAT HOTEL AND FANTASTIC LOCATION

THIS HOTEL HAS A VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF. THE ROOMS ARE VERY COMFORTABLE WITH WONDERFUL BEDDING AND PILLOWS. THE RESTAURANTS AND BARS HAVE FRIENDLY SERVERS AND THE OUTDOOR SEATING AREAS OFFER PLEASING VIEWS. THE LOCATION IS FANTASTIC. ON THE DOWN SIDE, THE ROOMS DO NOT HAVE IN-ROOM SAFES, WHICH THEY NEED. THE BATHROOMS DON'T HAVE EXTRACTION FANS TO KEEP MIRRORS FOG-FREE. THERE ARE NO IN-ROOM REFRIGERATORS. WI-FI IS NOT FREE. DESPITE THE NEGATIVES, THE HOTEL SERVES ITS CUSTOMERS WELL, ESPECIALLY THOSE ATTENDING PAVILLION EVENTS. PIZZA OR SANDWICHES AND DRINKS AFTER PERFORMANCES SHOWS THAT THE HOTEL THINKS AHEAD. ALL IN ALL, A GREAT HOTEL IN A SUPERB LOCATION THAT IS ALSO CLOSE TO IAH.

Great w/e getaway!

Loved the room & view. Wonderful bed. Great staff and friendly service. Breakfast buffet was really nice, too.

Loved it!

This hotel has the most comfortable beds EVER!!! The hotel is very nice, clean, and classy. I've tried searching on the internet to find out how to purchase the same bedding they have, all to no avail. If anyone knows, please let me know!

We loved the bed.

Pros: Quick check-in. Arrived around noon Monday, check in took no more than 5min. maybe. The room: The bed we wanted to take home with us. Absolutely incredible, a ton of pillows/ the comforter, we got lost in that bed. We were up-graded to the 14th floor for free which was nice, had a nice view of the mall... There are a ton of places to eat close by and a movie theatre across the street(walking distance) We had a great time. Cons: NONE We'll be back. We always stay at marriott properties, haven't been disappointed yet.

The hotel is always clean and the food is good. The service is so great it just makes you to want to go back.The rooms are clean and big the the decourage is great and the linens are wonderful and a lot of them in each room. Most hotel you have to keep asking for more linens.

Luxurious Hotel

I loved the aura of luxury in this hotel. Very nice and clean. Sons had their homecoming dance here and thoroughly impressed with the whole place!

Great time

We stayed in July 2004 because a concert was being held at the pavilion next door. We arrived early but were given a room without a problem. A bellman loaded us up and took us to our clean, comfortable room while another parked our car. We called for more towels and a less than ten minutes later were called back to apologize but that the towels would be up very soon. They were up within thirty minutes from when we first called and the staff was apologetic for taking so long. The hotel is along the path of a water taxi that will take you to many dining establishments and a large mall. The convienece of not having to drive to the concert (and park) was worth the extra $$ for the hotel. Friendly staff, clean room, quiet. Great value and I'd definitely stay there again given the opportunity.

This hotel is wonderful!

Our trip to this hotel was one of the most perfect trips ever. The hotel is so beautiful and the people were very welcoming. One thing that I really like was how clean the hotel felt. Our room was so nice and comfortable that sometimes I forgot that I wasn't at home. The location was also perfect, it is not to far from the high way, so we didn't get lost in the woods, nor was it too close to the highway, so we couldn't sleep from the noise of the trafic. This hotel has changed the way that I feel about staying away from home. If I should stay at a hotel again I want it to be as nice and plaseing as this one.

Not the best convention space

I went to this hotel to present in a convention. Unfortuantly, the rooms were very small and cramped. I enjoyed the room and room amenities. Nice showers! Also, you can take the boat shuttle to the woodlands mall for a fee. I think the fee is a bit much. Internet connection was not free which is key when I stay somewhere for business. Nice fitness Center! Great Comfortable Bends. So I think it is a nice hotel in a area where you don't need a car to do something. However, as a convention hotel, the rooms were a bit small.
