Horrible service from night manager!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/22/07
After traveling for several hours from Delaware to Ohio on a return trip from the beach, we decided to stay in Berkeley Springs at the Best Western late on a Sunday evening. An older relative and I went to reserve a room. She stepped up to the counter, where a gray-haired gentleman (I took to be the night manager) stared at us. She asked him if they took AAA, and he rudely replied that they "honored AAA" but didn't take it. I looked over the rate sheet on the counter, and in a condescending manner the manager asked "May I help you?" Given the tone of his voice, I said "I don't think so. We'll just find another place to stay." And then he replied, "Well, good." I will never attempt to stay at a Best Western. I'm sure this hotel was very clean and nice. It certainly gave that appearance. However, the staff did not give us an opportunity to enjoy the stay at a Best Western.
