Comfort Inn, Flushing

This is an asian area, food places walking distance, market. One problem the room was not nice, dirty, needs a lot of remodeling. Did see breakfast the few days i was there

I like this place as it is closer to all public transportation. the rooms are nice and clean. courtious services. nice area. reasonable price. Internet access.

This place was a dump. The rooms were small and walls were paper thin. You could here the people next to you. A/C was noisy, had no choice but to have it on because it was so humid. I got in late from flight delays, and you guessed it, nothing was open to get something to eat. Parking is none existent. Learned my lesson. I will start reading these reviews to get a better idea what the hotel is like before I book another room.

location is my falvor for this place, especially for Chinese community.

I was surprising my boyfriend with a birthday trip to New York for a Mets game in Flushing, NY. I booked a night at the Comfort Inn in Flushing New York but was sadly disappointed with most of the hotel. There was absolutely NO parking at the hotel or even on the streets. The buildings surrounding the hotel were under rennovation and the street was blocked off with construction barrels. The hotel had no parking lots or designated parking in the area so we had to drive around and find a spot. The room was quite expensive for the value. The list price with tax was 103.00 and we got a room with a double bed, however the room was no bigger than 6X8. It was so tiny that we kept bumping into each other. The room smelled musty and was damp, but when we arrived the weather was dry and cold, which led me to feel like the room has not been used in a while. It was 4 blocks from the Subway, not the advertised 2. Also when I called they told me that they were in walking distance to Shea stadium, which is why we were there. But in all actuality, it was close to a mile and it was located on the other side of the river with no walking paths, only the subway and the bridge, so they mislead me on location, value, and overall package. I was very disappointed. What I wanted to be a great surprise, turned out to be a restless nights sleep!
