Staybridge Suites, Rochester

Stayed here because of the closeness of the hotel to St. Mary's hospital. It was nice to be able to walk right across the street to the hospital. As far as the room we had, the size was good as well as the amenities. That being said, we were disappointed in the housekeeping services for our room. Paying over $100 a night for a room, I would just expect that clean sheets are provided every day. Changing the sheets once a week was not at all adequate. We also felt housekeeping should have dusted everyday as well as vacuumed the floors. We stayed for a little over a week and during the entire time, the hall floors were never vacuumed. They were dirty and could have used a shampoo job. Also, breakfast was less than desirable. The food choices were the same every morning. This gets old very fast. If these problems could be resolved, we would consider staying there again.

have stayed at various places in rochester but none compare to the staybridge - it feels like your at home - the staff is very friendly - free brakfast every morning - the rooms are very comfortable and makes your stay a lot more pleasant - plus its right across from st mary's hospital - which makes it convienent if you have to go there for any reason -

I had an amazing experience at the Staybridge Suites. The location directly across the street from Saint Mary's couldn't have been more convenient! My guest room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and most importantly....quiet. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I will most definately stay here next time I'm in Rochester!

I came up here for a basketball game and the team could not fit in the pool. We had to be moved twice because of over booking. It was good to have big room.

I come to Rochester every year for my annual check up. I've stayed at several hotels and found this one to be the least friendly. Breakfast is mediocre and the price is too high. The Springhill Suites is just as close to St. Mary's and the service is much better there. They are also lower priced than the Staybridge.

Because of health issues with my dad, and being in Mayo long term, we needed a place that was convenient to St Mary's. We found a good deal of pros with the hotel as mentioned above. The pool is very small and the hot tub was not working about 30% of the time. The worst of it was that over the course of a month we had many people in the family including friends that went back to the room to shower or nap, since we were in ICU the rest of the time. Many of us had red spots on our hands, which we thought were from the gloves that we wore in ICU. Once we started getting the red spots on our legs and other places we were told that they were BED BUGS. We moved to another room, then another and still continued to get bites. I would not recommend going there until they fumigate the place.

The atmosphere here is warm and all staffs are friendly and helpful. I stayed here for a month and I find it mroe convinient to leave here than many other hotels in the area.
