Rude Management...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/6/11
As a business owner myself for over 20 year, and in the customer service industry for 20+ years, we were mortified at the unprofessionalism and unexperienced customer service skills that the owner and her son possess, in which is none at all. She does not know how to approach problems and her son who seems to be in his 20's, seemingly yells at customers instead of approaching and defusing situations. Witnessing this behavior made it awkward and uncomfortable and we will never stay here again. We are in a business that "word of mouth" for their business would have been to their advantage. People are always asking me "where to stay" in this area.... Little to they know, that the word will now be out to "NEVER STAY HERE!!! OWNERS ARE RUDE!!!" ...be warned and look elsewhere to stay! ...I only wish we would have saw some of the previous reviews here as it looks like they have a history of "yelling" at there customers!

A truly wonderful weekend!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/24/09
My husband and I checked into the Crooked River Lodge for a long Easter weekend just a few weeks ago, and already we can't wait to go back! We needed some R&R after the winter we've had. We were very happy with the staff and owners. They were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful! Ours had a huge king bed, jacuzzi tub, a sitting area, bath and balcony. I noticed the furnishings and bedding right away because they were beautiful, as well as comfortable. The room was made up fresh every day. We didn't try the continental breakfast because frankly, we didn't want to drag ourselves out of that wonderful bed! We thought the location was outstanding also; everything you want to do is very close by. The pool and hot tub is very clean. We got a great rate, and plan to go back very soon, hopefully on my birthday in June. The Crooked River Lodge is our new "place" up north! (I'm trying to think of somthing we didn't like about this place, but NOTHING comes to mind!)

Terrible Staff, Pets NOT Allowed!
By Bradley, 6/23/08
Staff was downright mean and would not verify our rate at check-in. Also was argumentative when we had questions about why the back door tot he hotel was left open during the day until about 9 pm. We thought that this was a security risk, but they didn't see a problem. They also had a yelling match with a guest who was complaining that their toilet was plugged. Pets are NOT allowed even though they say "Pet friendly". They almost didn't allow us to stay there even though we had paid in advance the $15 per night pet fee! WiFi doesn't work outside the lobby and will not be fixed soon. Damaged in a recent storm and is "too expensive to fix" even though room rates are expensive for the area. Rooms are spacious and have a nice view, but a bit run down. There are many better hotels in the area, look elsewhere.

We had a blast!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/7/06
We really enjoyed the outside hot tub. That was an experience with the snow coming down on you. The kids loved it. We had a blast. The rooms were nice and big and clean. Sharon, the owner was so nice and so were her employees. It was a great time. The snacks of cookies and goodies were all so wonderful!!
