Great Hotel!!
By Kathryn, 9/7/12
After reserving a nasty room with another local hotel, my fiancee and I were welcomed with open arms here. This hotel is very clean and and comfortable. We visit here often and refuse to stay anywhere else! The staff remembers us by name (even after the first time!). Very peaceful and would recommend Sleep Inn and Suites Valdosta to anyone!!

Two problems
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/12/11
When I booked my room online it was for a standard king with a jetted tub. On inspection of the room there was no jetted tub. Called the front desk about it and they stated my reservation did not say jetted tub. After returning home and checking, it DID state it. Second problem, room 255 has a bad door that is easily pushed open. We tried it several times and it easily pushed open every time. We ended up changing rooms.....Will be contacting management about no jetted tub today.

Worth It!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/8/09
We were looking for a quiet hotel to spend the night on our way to Disney World. This was the perfect place. It was easy to find, quietly situated off I-75, clean, and very reasonably priced. The room was very clean. Free internet that worked~ wow! The beds were actually comfortable (how often do you hear that), and the breakfast was well worth the stay. I will be staying hear again next time we're on our way to Orlando. Hope it stays the same. We're an average family of four who enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to people like us~ family.

Never Again
By Mirando, 1/7/08
I too chose this hotel because of the great reviews. I reserved a non-smoking room however my room was located on an all-smoking floor. As soon as the elevator doors opened on the 3rd floor the concentrated smell of tabacco overcame us. The "non-smoking" room wreeked with smoke and mildew and when I complained to the front desk I was told there were no more available rooms except for an suite which we would have to pay an additional hundred bucks for. The desk agent was not empathectic despite my plea that one of our kids was asthmatic. The next morning was no different; the management was rude and patronizing. After complaining to the choice hotels customer service I suppose the general manager was contacted and we were refunded our money. Yes, the hotel is nice, but the service is completely awful! I will never recommed nor stay at this "hotel" ever!

Nice hotel bad managment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/07
I am a travel agent for a major motor club, I went to the hotel with my family for a pleasure trip to go to Wild Adventure, the hotel is very nice and clean and the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is nice. Now for the bad part, I had a small problem so I went to the manager Jackie, I expected her to act like a manager and be customer friendly, because if the cuctomer is happy they will return and tell there friends and family about it and they to will visit the hotel, she was very rude and very customer unfriendly, she did not act like a person who should hold a managers position, I would not be staying here again and if any of my clients want to stay in Valdosta I would not recamend this hotel as long as she is manager, it is ashame because the hotel itself is a nice property but with managment like that it is not worth the stay if she cannot fix a small problem and make the customer happy.

Very Nice Hotel Rude Manager
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/30/07
The hotel itself was very nice and comfortable, it was clean but when I had a minor problem I asked for the manager, I spoke to Jackie, she did not seem like she wanted to be bothered with the hotel problem & did not want to talk about this she became very rude, the only way I will ever stay here again is if they got a new manager, it is ashamed how one person can tarnish a very nice hotels image.

Awful
By kj, 4/10/07
My family visited this hotel last weekend to visit Wild Adventures because the reviews were so good I chose this hotel. When we first walked into the room it had this strong smell that was unbearable it literally gave me a headache when I went to management about it I was told that they didn't have anymore rooms for me, but since it was Spring break weekend there was no other hotels available so we went to Walmart and bought Lysol to freshened the room up. My husband pulls the cover back from the bed and a small tube of toothpaste was laying there which is disgusting wondering if they change the sheets from the previous guest. IT WAS DISGUSTING.

Best deal for the amenities.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/29/06
Late March and a heated pool along with high speed internet, just what I needed. Convenient to most restaurants and other necessities. I will book again.

Very impressive hotel!!
By sc girl, 6/29/05
My family and I were quite pleased with this hotel. The rooms were modern, and very clean. The hotel was spotless. The staff was helpful and friendly. I will tell anyone going to this area to stay here. The hotel was very impressive for the amount paid. The breakfast at the hotel was well supplied and very filling. Any one with kids I highly recommend. WE WILL BE BACK!!

The best
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/27/04
We travel to Valdosta quite a bit for Wild Adventures Theme Park. We've tried other hotels, but always come back to the Sleep Inn. The rooms are so nice and CLEAN! And the waffles at breakfast are delicious. Hazel makes sure you have what you need at breakfast, and she always remembers us!! We will continue to stay at the Sleep Inn!
