We made reservations here because they have an indoor pool. Called and confirmed it was open, and what time it closed. We we checked in were told that it was not open and quickly said we could get a refund ??? Also we reserved a suite and we have stayed at other HI with suite and this one is a joke- Will not use Holiday Inn again- they have thoroughly let me down- other guests confirmed the same and also were very disappointed.
In our first room, the window wouldn't lock and they didn't attempt to fix it. So we asked for and got another room. We stayed two nights, but never got any clean towels and washcloths for the 2nd day. Then our bill was messed up and we were charged twice as much as we were supposed to be charged. It's still not resolved as I write this.
My husband made reservations for 2 nights August 21 and August 22nd at
the Holiday Inn Express in Milledgeville, Ga. He received his
confirmation number. When we arrived we were told
they did not have the reservation-my husband showed them the email with
the confirmation number and the dates. They still could not find it. We
started to go somewhere else but they said They would get us in. It
took over 30 minutes to get checked in and then the next morning -after
I had left the room to help a friend with a project she needed to get
done-the front desk called my husband to advise we had to leave because
there were no vacancies. This was VERY inconveniencing. He was lucky
to be able to reach me to come back since I was in a location where cell phone service is poor-this was part of my vacation that I
worked hard for all year. I will NEVER stay at another Holiday Inn
Express and will not recommend them to anyone!"
This hotel was great from the start. I walked in and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I entered my room and I have stayed in many hotel from Luxury to limited service...and I must say that my room was clean and very spacious. I didn't agree with an inside pool, but that was ok. The Breakfast hostess was divine. I will be back and will tell all of my family about this hotel in little milledgeville.
What a nice hotel. We stayed 2 nights because my son was graduating from college. We really only wanted a place to sleep, but it was so much more. The lobby was large, new and clean. our room was large and clean. The continental breakfast was also good. And a great price. We have stayed in much worse hotels that charged a lot more.
We arrived in an ice storm and the staff was warm and inviting. We were treated like part of their family, not just a customer. The indoor pool and hot tub were just right to take the edge off of a cold winter night.
