Not worth the $$

This place was easy to get to--right off of the highway. It was small, but we were only sleeping there, so it fit the purpose. When we arrived, we saw the people in the room next door had 3 children under the age of 5--but we never heard them. Bonus points for being nice and quiet.
The place smelled strange. Not unpleasant, just really weird. It was all we could smell until we turned on the sink--which smelled like sulfur. The water was disgusting, and I ended up using bottled water to brush my teeth, and didn't take a shower at all--I can still taste the water in my mouth, 8 hours later.
The bed was comfortable, the room looked like it was under construction--one was plastered over. The AC turned on, but the controls didn't work on it, so we couldn't make it colder. But, for being a summer night, it was comfortable. The remote control was held together with scotch tape, and almost every TV station was fuzzy.
The office wasn't very professional--a child was working, and had to find my reservation on small pieces of notebook paper--that didn't make me feel very secure, and I took my e-mail confirmation home with me instead of throwing it away at the hotel. If they put their reservations on scraps of paper, instead of a computer, I doubt they care about keeping my info private.
All in all, not a bad experience, but definitely not worth the money. It was only $50 more for the local Hilton. We should have splurged and stayed at the Hilton, because we paid $150 for one night and couldn't even shower in clean water.
